Vikings Carb diet

So I was browsing around and found vikings carb diet where you essentially stop eating carbs after 2 pm. My wife and I decided to give it a whirl. So far we are on day two and hell just from not being so overloaded with the carbs I can honestly say i feel a little better. I always used to wonder why I felt so down after pounding down pasta etc the night before. So this brings me to my question for those who are familiar with it.

If we are not supposed to be eating any carbs after 2 am I cheating when I eat say mashed cauliflower with chicken or greens etc? They still have carbs low carbs but still carbs none the less. Days are pretty easy but the dinner planning is whats a little tough. I feel like even eating cauliflower I'm cheating. Any thoughts are much appreciated guys.

That is the ultimate goal. The biggest killer is pasta...... You'd think i was italian or something. Ill let her know and she'll send you a pm?

Thanks hrdbdy, so that would mean that natural peanut butter at night is probably out of the question? I want to follow it very closely but am still torn about completely eliminating as well. Most diets that people go on that cut major things end up rebounding right back up after they stop if that makes sense. Is this diet more of a "lifestyle" change?? There were a lot of comments but couldn't find much actual guidelines, food lists etc. Not trying to offend and google does wonders but thought it might help for people actually giving it a shot. Also hrdbdy, could my wife chat with you at all?? Maybe through a pm?? She would probably just use my acct but she is wanting to run a var cycle.

I d be happy to talk to your wife anytime. peanut butter has its place and time so you have to manage it and make sure you don't over do it.. this should be more about lifestyle than crash diet ... that way the fat comes off slowly with out incurring health risks from dropping it too quickly and will allow the skin to not be saggy .... as often happens with very quick fat loss.. I can help with a more specific diet if you wish again something that is a lifestyle change that will help with fat loss and can be used to add muscle mass should you wish to make alterations to it to do so

those are fiberous carbs ... eat up .. same with spinach, greens, brocoli, etc.. high fiber carbs arent cheating per se .. ..
