Seeking advice on how to lose fat... struggling

I already posted in the intro forum and posted some pics of me. I am overweight and need to shed some fat.

What i'm basically looking for is a cookie cutter diet/training program i can follow for the next 12 weeks that can help me get to my goal.

My goal: lose 40 lbs of and get back to around 180-185lbs.

Any help would be appreciated as I'm sort of at the end of my rope here.

No need to be embarrassed we all started somewhere and we all have our own struggles. Props on posting pics!

I'm still newish to training but have you taken a look at bodybuilding.com? it has some good starter programs there.

As far as diet goes this place is really for independent learners. I suggests doing some research on macros, calories, and the whirl wind that is nutrition and self educate as much as you can. Once you think you have a good outlined plan of attack post your meal plan on here:

The guys will review and give any feedback. Its a family on here everyone really wants to help everyone reach their goals. In the mean time I can really only suggest some basic tips of; no soda, fast food, or high sugar and bad fats food. Make little changes first so you set yourself up to succeed.

I was a big girl at one point. I started with cutting out soda and candy. Than fast food. Than adding in better food substitutes for the not as healthy as I thought healthy food. Good Luck!
