counting macros is a waste of time

For the people who want to lose fat , counting macros is a waste of ur time ... because i could eat 5000 cal per day and still lose fat and get fuller muscles.. its really about ur body size and sparking ur metabolism.. eat every two hours.. the more time u eat/spark , then u ll burn more calories in the long run.. with that said, if ur trying to lose wieght carbs still matter, any unburned carbs will not help u .. so carbs dont apply to this equation.

i think it can help you get a good idea of how much your actually eating. maybe not exactly, but keeping a rough estimate and actually adding them up can be helpful to some of us. for instance, when i started doing this on occasion to fine tune my diet, i realized that sometimes i was eating upwards of 6000 calories, when i only thought i was eating about 3500 4000, so it can be helpful at times in my opinion.

This is true...as well as...don't want to have to be the one to say it but.....drugs of choice and drug doses. A lot of people all across the boards never want to talk about it but its true.

i don't necessarily think that is true =/

beast your a big guy right? 220+ lbs?
5000 calories isn't a whole lot for you to eat with your size plus the workload you do, i saw you post the other day that your doing 60-70 sets per body part in the gym, that's gonna burn off a lot of calories.

but just eating randomly without keeping track of it, someone who doesn't have your size/workload might overshoot their goals.
