Same here. He's big and scary and his bark will make most people shit themselves. But the second you cross the threshold of the front door he thinks everyone is his best friend and there purely to give him treats and attention. Until he decides to wrestle and turns into an actual bulldozer
Yep my boy is gentle but it's pit bull gentle so look out when it's play time. His sisters though ate monsters a 210lbs South African mastiff who only likes me and a Belgian Doberman mix that solves all challenges with biting like when drinking water she bites it aggressively.
They get along great. They just playfully beat the hell out of each other. About a year ago Beefy lost a tooth while they played and he didn't even flinch
