Grown from seeds or clones?
Clones. I get them about a foot high, bushy, femmed, and topped so I can veg em for 5 weeks before turning them. Otherwise, I would have to grow from seed and sex the cuttings of the original plant to sex them. I don't have the time since I harvest every 5 weeks.
Ive been doing quite a bit of reading up on perpetual grows and from what ive learnt most guys are yeilding around 20% more when pulling every 2 weeks (assuming you have 8 week girls).. Imagine u have 16 plants X amount of wattage spread over 4 lights.. and u switch and pull them all at the same time.. By week 7 the lights on each end of the light racks would barely be penetrating the middle plants and not even nearly spreadin to the other sides (assumin u have 4 lights side by side all in a line) then imagine you put 8 in to flower 4 weeks before the next 8.. By week 7 the first lot would be soaking up heaps more than if they were crowded AND the outer lights would be able to penetrate each end of the grow room much easier.. Then imagine u put 4 freshies in every 2 weeks and were pulling 4 out everytime u did so.. Theres much more airspace and much easier to keep the humidity down (i know when i 'used to' grow crowded areas the humidity is an absolute bitch to keep where i wanted it :( ) ps im basing this on a perpetual sea of green type grow where numbers arent limited and where the rooms always set to flower (u say you veg for 5 weeks!? Da fuk bro!? Yet theyre already one foot and topped!? You must be growin utter fucking monsters to be pulling 4-6p per 8 plants! We should chat privately some day im always looking to learn new tricks. (For infomation purposes as always) lol
I actually went from a full hydo set up (drip stakes) on a two week harvest cycle (6 per light) to a minimalist set up and soil. It was way to much work cleaning, trimming, rotating, and cloning every two weeks. I am now harvesting 16 per 5 weeks and that is much more manageable for me. It still is a big project when I trim, rotate, and clean, but I get a bigger break in between. I am hitting better yeild numbers now too. This works better for me. More time to hit the gym and work on me! LOL
Trimmin :( what a fkn menace of a job that is! Check out the spin pros bro ;p ya can get manual or automatic setups depending on your needs.. It cuts 3-4 days work down to 3-4 hours :/ bloody sensational little devices let me tell u lol

Beats paying trimmers $15-$20/HR plus whatever buds they pocket. Do you use the trimmings for making hash? I've never done it, but I've heard of people doing it. Any time I've ever grown I didn't have enough trimmings for a venture like that.
You do need some buds in there. If you want taste and full melt.
I prefer all buds with keif and a dash of hash.
trimmings are great for making hash 'cakes'.. party type cakes
the trimmings contain alot less cannabanoids and more thc (ratio) than bud! it makes for a more uplifting less zombie type high lol 
call me old fashioned but using ur a grade material for hash is just like puryfying a 100 year old whiskey :/ its the impurities that make it that much better bro!

Stupid question since I read back over your harvest frequency. Sounds like you have it down to a science. Do you live in a medical state? Or do you just grow rouge style?
For sure in a legal state. I am 100% legal and it feels great. I am more worried about opportunists than the cops. NO ONE KNOWS WHERE I LIVE! I only sell to my patients to cut down on riff raff. I make less, but get to live to sell another day. LOL
