I have seen this stuff popping up on other sites. I actually have a sample coming. Looks like guys are using it as a pre-workout stimulate. Anyways here is a good read if you want to know more about it;

i love kratom. i actually got a couple kilos at the house right now. i used to take alot of pain pills(i was presc ribed) but i stopped going to the doc and a buddy told me about kratom...ive tried every kind out there but maeng da is my favorite. i get it by the kilo because its cheaper, and sell it 20 an oz...helps alot of people stay off of hard drugs

Works well for opiate withdrawls. Never used it myself tho. It's an opioid receptor agonist like oxycodone, heroin etc. it's not an opiate tho, it's just able to activate the receptor. From what I've read it doesn't produce a typical opiate high, it's more of a stimulating high. So maybe good for preworkout, I would bother with it tho it has potential for addiction.
i been reading more about it...i think it probably varies person to person addiction wise...only got 6 grams of two different kinds today...was a sample pack...might try one of them tomorrow before the gym
