Introduction and Thanks to Gorillafit

ad
Default - Use Group's defaults.

A huge thanks to Gorillafit for creating this group! Our hope is that it can serve as a central location on eroids for information on anti-aging and life extension in general.

As a retired anti-aging coach, I've followed anti-aging research for nearly 30 years. I was born in 1948 so you can see why I might have a vested interest in the success of anti-aging strategies! ;-)

It will take considerable time to create supporting graphics, write articles, and make posts under numerous topics so this will be a work in progress. I'll start by migrating what I've already created elsewhere on eroids and then begin new material. My hope is that this group will be worth visiting frequently as the content develops.

Thanks again, Gorillafit... Your help is greatly appreciated.

My new home. Thank you.

Again, my thanks go to you and everyone else who has joined this group and to Gorillafit for creating it. (It was his idea and I didn't have enough karma to create a group.)

My past experience as an anti-aging coach has been that if I talk to 100 people about anti-aging... 2 will be interested! It has been very frustrating, being passionate about the subject, spending hours per day reading and researching for decades, knowing I have information that can save lives and radically improve health, wanting to help others, and not being able to. I'm doing a free local seminar this weekend. I sent out 265 invitations... 9 responded. :(

HOWEVER, the response on eroids has been awesome... It is truly my pleasure to be able to help!

Exciting times, gathering information on how to get the most out of your expensive HGH and other supplements to help you get the most out of life. Life is too short to live at or below "Normal".
"Fuck Genetics, I'll Decide My Potential"

Exactly... It's a full time job just staying up with the new research in the field of anti-aging and today more than ever before, it is possible to overcome our genetic coding and take charge of our health destiny. I'm 64 and "normal" for me is to be well on my decline toward death. I find that unacceptable. I believe, with what we know today, it is possible to live a very healthy and active life to 100 or more.

I'm excited to have this venue for addressing these issues. Thanks again Gorillafit for creating this group.

We all know hormone treatment greatly improves quality of life as we age. At some point all of us will be interested in what's covered in this group either for ourselves or a family member.

Of course, on this website, the first anti-aging strategy that comes to mind is hormone replacement/enhancement. But, there are many factors in aging and thus multiple strategies in slowing or reversing the effects of growing older.

One very important point... You can be too young to need hormone replacement (usually starts around 35 years of age) but you are NEVER TOO YOUNG to begin many of the other strategies such as anti-oxidants, immune system manipulation, anti-glycosylation, epi-genetic manipulation, and telomere protection/lengthening.

Stay tuned for cutting edge information on all of these and other strategies including specific recommendations on annual blood testing and prevention of heart disease and cancer (numbers 1 and 2 killers of U.S. population).

All of these should be of great interest and use. I wonder if the use of select peptides could be incorporated into future discussions.

Hey snuka, I'm just like everyone else on here... Always looking for a chance to learn. I don't have any experience with peptides outside of HGH but if there are gains to be made in the war on aging, I'm all ears! Smile

Looking into it right now, but they look like something to add to the arsenal. Just completed a zombie run, and looking to move up and do a spartan run, tough mudder, etc. Gotta do what it takes to keep up with these young bucks for as long as possible Smile

pathtaker's picture

Yeah... I ride bikes with 25 year olds. They wonder what the hell I'm doing to be able to keep up! ;-)

And the crazy thing is, I can tell them but they still don't get it! There's nothing easier to keep than a secret that nobody will believe if you tell them. LOL

I love it. Nothing better than giving some young buck a surprise...the "old man" can more than hang.

pathtaker's picture

Exactly! And another thing... My 54 year-old wife of 30 years and my 39 year-old son are "on my wheel" the whole time! Life's a blast when age isn't much of an issue!!

My curiosity is piqued. I'm interested to see what there is to learn here.
