Need help

ad

Ok fellas. Here it goes. I got a new job that is physically demanding. I lift cases of product every day that average around 40 pounds. Some weigh up to 55 pounds. I do this about 1,100 times a day. It’s a work out. It is interfering with my workout. Can I gain muscle like this? I am a little weaker at the gym. I don’t know if my muscles are healed up when I go lift. I can feel the soreness from my job. I can’t change jobs because this is the best paying job I ever had. Union ran and great money. I’m hoping when I hop on cycle next month that I will heal up faster and it will go away. I am also worried about injury. It’s pretty much a workout for 11 hours a day at my job. Obviously I am not going to stop working out. Any advise from you guys would be helpful. I need my job and absolutely can not stop going to the gym.

Your body will adjust. Arnold and Franco worked construction when they were starting out..

The deca will do a lot as long as you feed it right.

Taking a look at your physique it looks very symmetrical, just lacks size. That all comes down to food. You’re obviously training hard and add labor from work you’ll be putting the work in, just make sure you feed it properly and you’ll put hit that 215 target for sure.

Let us know if you need specifics on how to supplement extra calories in, timing, etc...

I need a good supplement for my joints and I can’t close my hands in the morning. Knuckles are sore badly.

You’re getting paid to work out! Eat more to compensate for the excess caloric expenditure and increased need for repair, and the HGH you plan on taking will help with keeping your joints good and speed your recovery. I think that as long as you make sure to have good form while lifting these objects all day, then you’ll be happy with the results you see from the increased exercise. You’ll probably not even need to do cardio any more!

I know guys who are ripped that have jobs like this. One guy delivers for UPS and is doing cardio all day everyday; yet he is in shape. So, its up to you to figure out how t work it in; it can be done. Lifting iron hits your muscles in a totally different way and it shouldn't be a conflict. A lot of sleep, and a well planned cycle and you'll be on your way!

Just remember Conan the Barbarian grew to a massive size and a spectacular physique by pushing a beam of wood around in circles all day long every day. Day after day.

When I was a kid that’s how I thought he got all that muscle.

Once you get on cycle soon mate you'll find it helps tremendously, just try and stick it out till then. I know it won't make things any easier for you but just think Eddie Hall use to repair articulated lorries all day, then go train for worlds strongest man for 2 hours plus, then go work the doors Lol I've heard of many other bodybuilders do labourus jobs also repairing and lifting washing machines all day in factories etc. I know they are often built with the genetics of Gorillas to start with but if you just hang in there your body will adjust and the PED's will make a massive difference Smile Make sure you run energy producing compounds also such as moderate test, NPP, Dbol, Adrol, E.Q, Masteron etc

Thank you brother. I wanna run deca but am gonna wait about three more weeks. I need the joint relief. But I don’t like to run cycles too close together. I was hoping when I started my cycle that it wouldn’t matter.

I just left a job that wasn’t ideal to fit around workouts since I would walk 6 hours a day. But I can tell you during that time I never did cardio, ever. I was at my lowest body fat percent year round. It took a month or two to get adjusted but after that I was fine. And yes you’ll still gain muscle. Many bodybuilders had physical jobs until they could afford to only bodybuild. My pic above my name was from that time period.

Thank you brother. Glad to hear you gained with the physical job. That was my fear that I wouldn’t be able to gain. I knew somebody on here had to have a hard job while trying to build.

May help to pinpoint the muscles you’re using at work and scale back the volume on those during your workouts for the weeks. Especially off cycle. Scale back until you feel you’re healing properly and then slowly scale back up to as much as you can handle/recover from.

Bill1976's picture

It’s mostly forearms and shoulders and biceps

DfromPhilly's picture

Yea I’d scale back on the volume then for those groups. I’d imagine upper back a little too. I’d hit the breaks a bit on those groups until you feel your recovering properly. Maybe just like 3 sets each for those muscles til you’re ready then slowly build up to the max You can recover from. That’s what I’d likely do. At least while you’re off, anyhow.

I’m assuming you train more for BB?

Bill1976's picture

Yes I train for bb. No powerlifting. I’m just trying to get to 210 give or take. I’m close to that now.

DfromPhilly's picture

Yea that would be my move then. If you were PL I’d just chill on upper body accessories that involved those groups. Same concept tho.

Feeling sore. Sip your bcaa/eaa during work maybe even add some carb powder to them durong your work day. That should help with soreness. I like the hgh for sleep idea. It has helped me even with a small 2iu dose.

Livelife76's picture

Get 8hrs sleep, hgh would be beneficial no doubt about it depending on your budget maybe look into that. Also until cycle wouldn’t hurt to throw some good old creatine in everyday bc you are lifting constantly this will help with recovery along with glutamine.

Bill1976's picture

Thank you. I am actually in the process of getting some hgh. To help.
