Need a new ab workout

ad

Well I'm cutting. Diet is on point and killing it at cardio and the gym, however my abs arn't popping like I want them too. I'm probably around 10%bf but I still don't have that defined six pack. Looking for some new suggestions on training abs. i usually do them 2-3 times a week after lifting and consist of hanging/lying leg lifts. Cable crunches and oblique cable crunches and swiss ball crunches.

Any feed back would be great!

Hey bro, sorry I was tired last night, and the ab routine takes a while to explain. Put simply, my killer ab routine is a superset of weighted ab exercises. The catch is that after each weighted exercise you do 10 reps of the ab wheel, OR 25 situps or side sit up (whatever the twisting ones are called). So it would go like this: Weighted sit up- ab wheel, weighted torso twists- ab wheel, so on and so forth. I would start with 4 exercises all back to back for a week or two until you get used to the heavy load. Then go on to 6 exercises. Once you feel STRONG with all 6 in a row, try TWO sets of that. I do this ab workout every other day in the gym. I also do non-weighted abs every other day. Yes, I do abs every day, alternating between weighted and body weight. Here are some weighted ab exercises:
1.) Weighted sit ups: Use a decline bench and hold the weight straight above your chest the whole time with straight arms.
2.) Weighted floor situps using only one hand. Lie on the floor with a 25 lb dumbell (just to start with to get the feel for the exercise). Holding it with ONE HAND ONLY hold the weight straight up over your chest and do 10 situps. Switch hands and repeat.
3.) Plate weighted sit ups. Ussing a 45 lb plate, lie on the floor with the plate held straight above your chest. SIt up, and bring the plate over your head.
4.) Resistance band sit up (my favorite). Grab some resistance bands and take over a decline bench press. Place the bands around the stantions of the press so that if you were to lie down on the bench the bands would be under your head (the lower the better). Go under the bands, and grab them with your hands and hold your hands straight in front of you. You are going to do a sit up while pushing the bands forward. Try to control your decline back down. Essentially this is a double sit up and is a killer!
5.) Weighted torso twists. Grab a plate, sit on the decline bench, go half way down. Twist back and forth turning as far as possible with each rotation. Try to do at least 14 full rotations.
6.) Cable torso twists. Grab a tricep rope and a cable machine. Slide the cable portion so that the cable is about mid-torso height. Grab the rope from one end, letting the other end catch on the clip. Just like swinging a bat you are going to rotate your body around so that the rope (with straight arms) wraps around your body. Explode on the turn, and SLOWLY bring the cable back.
7.) Barbell rotations. Look at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nk7RksvqGQs&playnext=1&list=PL6A9F725C2A4... I take it a step further and go all the way to my hips while turning my whole body.
8.) walking torso twist. Grab a 45 lb plate, stand up tall, hold it chest height about 6" away from your chest. Walk forward taking small steps. WIth each left step twist to the left. With each right step, twist to the right.

Those are just a few of the exercises that I do, and I hope that gives you a good starting point? Let me know how it works out for you...
