Heavy/Light Days

ad

Do you rotate heavy and light days or go heavy on all workouts?

Lately I've been going heavy on most of my workouts and it feels like it's starting to be a lot of stress.

Is it ok to also have light days? I was thinking maybe one week go heavy and then another week go lighter, and then repeat.

How heavy are you lifting and how long have you been lifting. If you are pushing real weight then a deload week once in awhile is benficial

good info. i feel similar. sometimes it's hard to know when to go light, because if i get a little stronger then i think it's ok to keep trying to go heavier and get even more stronger. then at times i feel like i pushed my body too hard and i start to feel tired trying to lift heavy weights day in and day out. i need to start rotating heavy days and light days.
