JakeSActually, I used about 4 meds until I found out which works, zyrtec didnt work, claritin didnt work, benadryl made me sleepy, but fexofenadine works great!! Itching stopped, took it 2 hrs prior to working out
Exercise induced urticaria was the name, I got some allergy testing, and my derma recomended that medication, works great!
AnonJakeS you ever get this figured out?
AnonOk had to chime in hear make sure you're getting this straitened out. Any changes since you first posted? No rash ever?
Itching during physical exertion can have a multitude of etiologies. These range from the benign to those with reason for concern. Not to be an alarmist but you should figure this out.
If you've ever had episodes in the past like this I would favor some form of exercise induced uticaria. Here is a link to an article from american family practice journal that outlines the different types and symptom manifestations. (http://www.aafp.org/afp/2001/1015/p1367.html) Given that you stated you had this occur even when your body got hot I would favor Cholinergic Uticaria so read up on that and see if that fits you but probably not if you've not had a rash ever?
Secondly, as brought up this may be the first signs of liver problems. The itching is related to the increased amount of bile salts and various mediators most notably histamines from a multitude of intra or sometimes extra-hepatic causes. I know you said you're not on cycle but plan to start next month. Absolutely do not start running stuff without getting a liver panel done if you can not identify this itching with a pre-workout or detergent or some other simple reproducible cause that is. Liver issues from just plain old cholestasis or slowing of the gallbladder and bile duct contractions/motility to masses which would obstruct flow. Forms of hepatitis may also present as this. I don't mean to be an alarmist and doubt its one of the bad things but certainly worth looking further into if its continuing especially when you say you can no longer sweat.
The whole not sweating thing is showing that there is some malfunction in the sympathetic nervous system in the setting of adequate fluid intake and normal urination. No drugs or herbals of any kinds? The lack of sweating (anhidrosis) can be attributed to hypothyroid type conditions as well.
Lastly another more rare cause could be a hematologic source such as polycythemia or having excess red blood cells.
Bottom line more information would help us. A trip to the doctor may not be a bad idea...Taking diphenhydramine or another antihistamine is only masking whats going on...
You need Thyroid levels and Liver panel as a minimum before you even consider running a new cycle, a CBC would also be beneficial.
Best of luck and I'll try to help more if you can provide some more info as above to better narrow it down.
tanning? Try lotions!
Heard this could be due to liver stress! Your not on anything
AnonAre u on cycle? Running orals? When I run too much gear or any orals and forget to drink enough water I get itchy bad. I take some Benadryl 50mg and boom back to normal. Make sure ur pounding the water bro
JakeSI actually drink a lot of water, but I just end up peeing a lot too... And its clear, not yellow not amber
Nah, I'm not on cycle, but I'm going to start a tren and test P cycle next month
If you cant sweat thats a big problem. See the doc. for the itchyness try taking benedryl.
JakeSYeah I take benadryl but mostly for sleep, due to its sedative effect, but yeah, I cant sweat
Did u switch laundry detergent recently? Any new
Things at all? Do you take a pre workout with niacin or beta alanine in it?
JakeSNo, nothing new, dont really use pre workout, even if I dont workout, when I go to the car or somewhere thats hot, itch starts :(
