Crap!!! My freaking shoulder

ad

Yesterday did squats, the day before that was shoulders/arms. Felt totally fine hours after squat work until after sitting on the couch in the evening kinda leaning on my arm a bit I got up and bam, my shoulder felt like I just tried to overhead press 150kg and buckled. I tried rotating it, shaking it out and rubbing it, but it only got worse. Could hardly sleep all night i was getting up to ice it it hurt so bad in any position other than straight down my side.

It feels like a tendon or muscle strain in the front delt where the front and mid delt meet. (does not feel like internal cuff)

Anyone wanna take a gamble as to what the heck happened? I can't do a thing at the moment and have never really been injured before.

Running about 3amps of sust a week and 4iu HGH ED.
30yrs
225lbs

Could I have strained it squatting but only noticed after I was leaning on it thus putting pressure on a weak point?

Any thoughts on rehap, time off etc?

Thanks all

This happened to me I ended up getting a rotator cuff injury because I ignored it rest your shoulder for 2-3 weeks if it gets worse go see your doctor I had a catabolic steroid injection in my shoulder and with a rest I'm back to normal

eeeee, sounds painful. Be very careful, the shoulder is the most prone further injury. Have you been putting cold compress on it? You want to get down as much inflammation as possible. If inflammation is always present, especially if you are continually active, it will form a barrier and will block the bodies natural ability to bring blood flow to the area and start the healing process. The cold will help with your pain too. Everyone is right, it could be a few different things, so seeing a doctor is always the best thing to do. There is a treatment i highly recommend. I have a lot of back issues, and working out always makes it flare up. I swear by this treatment and talk to many others daily who find it a life saver. It is called the BFST (blood flow stimulation therapy). It will promote the blood flow you need to help you heal at an accelerated rate.

skip shoulders and chest for a week and do other things if the pain doesnt go away see the doc could be impingment, laberal tear. cuff strain..... i had a nagging shoulder problem after i took a nasty fall at a running event in 2012 i just ignored it and trained around it for about 4 months and when it was still hurting every time i benched or threw a ball or shoulder pressed i went to the doc and found out i had a tear in my labrum..... needed surgery to fix it but im back in the gym now and in less pain than i was before. good luck brother

I did what sounds like the same thing to my shoulder. I had to chill out on heavy exercises that involved my shoulder for a while and just wait it out for about a month to make sure I was ok, the I went back to normal lifting. I wasn't on gear at the time, so it took a little longer.

Hard to say what the real cause might be. If the pain sustains see ur gp. Obviously u should stay away from high strains. Dips might not be the best option, as it puts the shoulder under stress. Would go for shoulder in/out rotation at cable station or rubber band (check with ur trainer).
The gh & test will help u recover.
BTW even on roids it's good to take a week off at the gym every 12wks to fully recover, growth and prevent injury...

You could of just pinched a nerve or just strained it a bit. Maybe its even just a quick tendonitis flare up. I would just stretch, advi/ Aleve and do really light shoulder exercise until the kink subsides

shoulder impingement, probably a likely candidate as HGH causes the swelling and water retention would make it more likely to pinch one of the tendons in the tiny slot about the shoulder joint as the gape is made even smaller.

Hopefully back in a week, managed to train back and legs this week so far and will try arms tonight. Did some chest too, only slight decline and dips though the rest caused pain so backed off.
