How to build BIG TRICEPS???????

logan's picture

Close grip benching. It's an exercise that I see very few people do now a days and is still IMO the most affective. This exercise targets the largest part of the tricep and remember elbows in.

CGBP puts more emphasis on the lateral head though which is not the largest part of the tricep. The long head is the largest head of the tricep, any overhead movement will put more emphasis on the long head.

Regardless of the above I completely agree CGBP is a great exercise.

Fuk this computer shit is all kinda new to me so bare with me im old school.i always had trouble with building arms til i went single dumbell overhead press..go heavy watever heavy is for you.

Heavy ass weighted dips , as heavy as you can possibly go..... The single most effect exercise I have found to thicken / blow your arms up.

Tricep kickbacks with 90lb dumbbells. You do that your tris will be huge.

ezmacc's picture

Haha I can hardly do french presses with a 90lb. You would be beast mode if you could do 90lb kickbacks

I just added kick backs to my routine last week and have seen some decent changes in size
