+ 1 Spaghetti and Meat Sauce
This is one of my favorite meals to make if you're trying to put on size. Tons of calories and super delicious.
I usually make this in bulk and put it in the fridge, it last me usually 3-4 days.
Half a box of spaghetti (any kind, I use Barilla)
2 lbs of ground beef (I used 80/20 but any works really)
2 Jars of past sauce (roasted garlic is my preferred choice)
2 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp basil
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp salt
A sprinkle of parsley and bay leaves
Fill large pot with water, take half a box of spaghetti, break it in half, and put on medium-high heat until spaghetti softens. Usually when it starts to boil. Once done, put cook spaghetti in a drainer over the sink to empty out the water.
In a large pan, put the 2 lbs of meat, break it up, and cook until fully done. Once it is done, empty out the juices and put back on the stove on low heat. Then, add the pasta sauce and spices, cover the the pan and let simmer until spaghetti is done.
Not sure of the macros, but I know its a good amount and does the job
Enjoy!

My fathers spaghetti sauce is the best he is an italian for something haha you missing the onions the mushrooms the laurier the carots the wine in it .. he makes it and let it rest for one day then the family gets togheter and we eat togheter
I do this but I make my sauce from paste like sam’s talking about, and I use ground bison. That keeps me set for 2-3 meals and then I use the leftover sauce to make unbreaded chicken Parm
I use either Barilla whole wheat pasta or Barilla protein plus pasta
Canned spaghetti sauce lol.
Time to settle down and get a wife.
Personally I’d get no salt added tomato paste and throw in some red pepper flakes to substitute all the sodium.
Then I’d ground up some round steak in the blender to bring the fat down.
But that’s me.
TrenDaddyDidnt know they make spaghetti sauce in a can. Jars are the way to go.
But for me i can handle a lot of sodium, everybody is different tho. Never tried it with steak but that sounds good
It’s actually cheaper and comes from one cow.
Blends right up.
Multiple cows in one package just doesn’t seem right to me. A lot of the stores also add coloring to ground beef.
Love a good meat sauce, I make a big batch slam it for a few days then turn leftover sauce into a chili.
