Breakfast Ideas

ad

What do you guys do to mix it up for breakfast? I'm currently eating oatmeal to get in about 35g carbs, 2-3 full eggs with 2-3 egg whites added in every morning. I'm not tired of this yet by any means, but am about to start cycle and reckon I will get weary eventually. What do you guys eat in the morning?

First thing in the A.M.

I mix 2 scoops Whey Isolate (strawberry) - 244 calories / 54 g protein / 3 g Carbs / 2 g fat - 1 calorie
1/2 cup old fashioned oats - 150 calories / 5 g protein / 27g carbs / 3 g fat - 25 calories
1 cup Kefir blueberry lowfat cultured milk - 160 calories / 10g protein / 26 g carbs / 2 g fat - 20 calories
1 cup / handful fresh (preferably) or frozen blueberries - 83 calories / 1 g protein / 21 carbs/ .5 g fat
water
ice

Totals. 637 calories / 70 g protein / 77g carbs / 7.5 grams of fat.

Blend thoroughly and enjoy. This thick shake will start your day off right and prime your system with a morning blast of nutritionaly dense yet easily absorbable food.

Of course toy with the ratios to your tastes and nutritional needs. If you cannot find Kefir than I like to use Skim Plus milk. Great flavor that is protein fortified to boot.

While not listed, please also note that this shake provides digestive probiotics, a good supply of potassium, as well as fiber to start the day off right.

Again I do this first thing right upon waking. I like to get up early and give myself time to get all I need done and focus on my goals of the day. This allows me time to not only have a shake but also an hour an half later a real true hot whole food meal before I even need to leave the house. As for that next meal, that will have to be a story for another time. Hope you enjoy this recipe. Good luck!

I forgot. Topped off with brown rice syrup

I just saw on you tube.... 6 eggs a serving of pancake mix and strawberries. Make one large pancake. Haven't tried it yet but it looks doable

Add a cup of cottage cheese. That's my daily breakfast minus the yolks. Sometimes I eat it for dinner to.

Blend
2 scoops of oats
1 tbs peanut butter
1.5 scoops of whey
1 banana
ice and water
5g creatine

3/4 cup dry oats
Half cup whole milk
3/4 cup frozen blueberries
3 shakes of cinnamon
1 >< tbs honey
A good hand full of baby spinach cup and half?
6 whole eggs
Blend that and add two scoops vanilla protien while blending ( so it wont stick to the side and get wasted).

Sounds freaking good! I know sugar in the morning is good for protein uptake and getting nutrients shuttled into the muscles. Going to give some blueberries a go along with some cinnamon in my oats tmw.

It is. Like drinking blueberry ice cream. Some people are appalled because of the eggs and spinach but you can't taste them . Just don't forget the honey and vanilla protien. Or it will be very eggy. So.even times I use peanut powDer instead of the vanilla protien to mix it up

Ok, what's brown sauce?

Bearded_muscle's picture

I know this is ages old but brown sauce if I'm remembering correctly is basically a1 with a little less tang. Tasty stuff, tons of sodium if you're watching that...

We put Sriracha on everything here

I'm from UK and love a bit of siracha sauce kind of sweet and spicy if I'm not mistaken?

Asian chili sauce with the perfect amount of kick. Just had it on my chicken and rice. It's the only thing that makes it tolerable.

Haha it's a sauce they do in England it's great on things like eggs and bacon. I'm pretty sure USA don't do it.. actually I think it's an English thing. It's hard to even explain how it tastes haha. The best has to be a brand called daddies brown sauce followed by HP brown sauce. Search it up and see if your able to get it buddy

I like it scrambled too, but cleaning out the skillet takes longer than making the damn eggs. It sticks to the pan and shit. Sunny side with buttered toast to dunk in the yolk is my favorite but I don't eat bread anymore :(
