+ 1 Alternative cooking methods
ad
Sometimes simply cooking the same old ingredient a different way can make it new and exciting again .
Someone posted a way to cook eggs in their shell by baking them, what a great idea !!
Cauliflower is my latest and I cant get enough . Just had a ribeye , grilled portobella and cauliflower.
Try cutting up your cauliflower in to florets toss in a little olive oil , sea salt and fresh black pepper then spread it out on a cookie sheet and roast it at 350 degrees for about an hour
And dont forget those portobellas . Get a big cap , grill it top down with some balsamic vinegar poured over it
Anyone else got any new ideas for old foods to liven them up ?

AnonKick but corn.
Corn is not something I value in my diet, but boy it can be so good. Plus its just refreshing to take corn in in its normal state instead of snuck in to my food as syrup.
Never the less to accompany that steak or chicken, shave off the kernals from a fresh cob. Saute in a little butter with diced onion and diced red pepper , then close to the end add some black beans. Saute till some of the kernels brown slightly.

do they come out like hardboiled eggs or like quiche?

and seriously if you are throwing some chicken breast on top of salad, you should look for my salad dressing recipe . Its killer with some chicken and eggs atop a big salad !
Boom! One thing to add about cauliflower. Steam a shite load Until its soft, add cauliflower, salt, pepper, and milk in a bowl and mash away until you have what resembles mashed potatoes but with none of the carbs!!! Very versatile vegetable. Now I want cook some, +1 bud!
AnonThank you, and great idea to mash it !
The oven really caramelizes it , so yeah when your cutting carbs this is a nice way to get something a little sweet.
