Fitbit Charge HR
I recently joined the fad and got the Fitbit Charge HR. To be honest, I was very skeptical about its ability to accurately monitor my heart rate all day so I decided to put it to the test.
I work in the health care industry and have easy access to medical equipment such as vital signs monitors, pulse oximeters etc. So today I measured my heart rate using top of the line medical equipment and compared it to what my Fitbit was reading. I did this three times, using three different machines and every time the Fitbit was within +/- 5 bpm.
I was very impressed and just wanted to share with you all in case anyone else is on the fence about them. They are a great and accurate way to monitor your heart rate while exercising as well as throughout the day

I too jumped on the wagon recently. Bought myself Scosche Rhythm+. Not much use of it in the gym but it motivates me to do more cardio.
Yeah, I'm right there with you. I like being able to see my heart rate when I'm lifting but that's about it so far as the gym goes. I also like being able to make sure that my heart rate stays in the fat burning zone while doing cardio (I do mind outside with my dog instead of on a treadmill so I used to not have the heart rate sensor handy)
