+ 8 My current building mass diet
Hello iron brothers,
First of all, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong section as I did not find any allocated to diet.
I'm currently halfway through my lean building mass cycle of 12 weeks. You can find my steroids cycle in my previous post and, if you don't find it, I can write it to you in the comments.
I changed a little bit my diet from last week. Actually, I just decreased the carbs as my stomach felt full all the time, but, in order to keep my calorie intake the same, I increased proteins and fats to balance.
For info, I work from home so I can eat whatever I want and also whenever. If my situation would have been different, for sure I would have chosen easy and convenient snacks instead of these whole food meals.
Meal 1 (7 am) : 903 kcal ; P:55g ; G:92g; L:35g ==> see picture 1, the bowl was already half empty 'cause I was starving^^
- 3 whole eggs (I separate the egg yolks from the egg whites because I only cook the whites. I mix the yolks with oats, whey and milk in order to give more flavor.)
- 1 scoop of whey protein
- 120g of oats
- 200mL of milk
- a handful of lettuce and 200g of Sauerkraut mixed with egg whites (yeah I'm a bit... original^^)
Meal 2 (11am) : 761 kcal ; P:40g ; G:94g ; L:25g ==> picture 2
- 150g of beef heart
- 500g of baked potato
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
- 1 Orange
Meal 3 (3pm, 2h before WO) : 670 Kcal ; P:53g ; G:101g L:6g ==> picture 3
- 150g of breast turkey
- 120g of basmati rice (easy to digest)
- 100g of cooked onion
- 200g of mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
Meal 4 (7 pm , post-WO) 759 Kcal ; P:48g ; G:135g ; L:3g (no picture sorry)
- 1 scoop of whey protein
- 120g of cream of rice
- 200g of lean cottage cheese
- 1 banana
Meal 5 (10pm) : 903 Kcal ; P:40g ; G:98g ; L:39g (no picture sorry)
- 150g of salmon
- 500g of cooked sweet potatoes
- 300g of peppers
- 2 tablespoon of colza oil
- 1 banana
Total : about 4000 Kcal and P:236g ; G:520g ; L:108g
Current weight : 226 lb

TheFunOneWow bro sounds like you have a great plan in place! It looks like you have a good balance of proteins, carbs, and fats. Make sure you are getting enough rest and hydration to support your goals. Keep up the good work and stay strong!
Sammy trenWow!!! I'm so gonna get into this diet man. That's a mass gainers dream. I've screen shotted everything so I can put it you use. You're very knowledgeable. Thanks so much for sharing all this information. You've made my day.!!
Nice setup. I use to eat like this when I bulked in my 20s. In my 40s, I eat alot cleaner... Not that you're eating dirty... But things like fat and cholesterol become a thing for us old guys. Lol.
I have a similar thread for gaining lean mass... Linked my "you gonna eat that" thread to it as well so you can see what I'm eating.
KuntarinoI agree my diet is not as good as it could be for health purposes. I used to eat a lot cleaner few years ago but it was a lot more expensive and time consuming --
Thanks for your message, I will have a look at your post !
I wouldn't worry about it too much. Your diet still looks great. I was consuming alot of fat/cholesterol via whole milk, cottage cheese, egg yokes, and sweets back in the day. Shit I just cant do anymore if I wanna gain clean mass.
Damn. That looks so good. Wish my wife cooked like that lol..
KuntarinoLol, to motivate her to improve her cooking skills you could tell that you will get abs --
pamg45wow !!! Your recipes always look so good and are surprisingly simple to make. Thanks for sharing <3 <3
KuntarinoThanks bro, I always try to make things easy nowaday because I need balance between my bodybuilding life and also social and professionnal life.
To be honest I could make better meals regarding taste but it would cost me to much time cooking.
By the way, the most important is to find a diet that you could stick to while reaching your goals
This is a quality upload bro. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
How was the beef heart, any tips on how to cook it?
KuntarinoI cook it over low heat in a pan with a bit of coconut oil and covered with a glass bell for 15min. That way, the meat is fully cooked but not burnt.
I like the picture to go along with it. Nice job
KuntarinoThanks, but I can do better next time with bigger plates and better presentation --
Yukon_JackThanks for ur contribution to the community bro
Very detailed. Looks delicious. Good job bro. +1
KuntarinoThanks. Actually with some species I really enjoyed every meal without being bored of eating the same. Maybe I will have to change my meals later but so far so good
thanks for laying that out. I would personally need more protein. Looks like it is working for you so keep rolling with it.
KuntarinoIndeed I thought the same but I have the feeling that my body does a good nutrition partitonning with lots of carbs in it, it keeps my proteins for (re)-building
