Homeade Oatmeal Calorie drink
ad
I remember seeing someone post a homeade oatmeal drink with the purpose of providing high calories in a drink. Part of the idea I read sometime ago said to grind up a buncha oats into powder and incorparate that into a drink. I was wondering if anyone has their own recipies or information on ways to do this.
Id like to make one, and am not worried about protein, merly just a source of easy high cals. Anyone?
BTW I understand their are mass gainer products that would serve the same purpose but Id like to explore the oatmeal drink idea.

AnonI cup of whole oats, put it into bottom of the blender, two scoops of cyto gainer (chocolate malt flavor) two scoops or optimum nutrition godl standard whey protien, half a cup of blue berries (frozen) five or six frozen strawberries, 1 tbs almond butter.. milk one to two cups to taste...
So fisst shot was just a test.. I grinded up 7 servings of oats. About 900 calories worth.
Poured some rice dream vanilla in it. And chugged. I had to refill my plastic cup once more and I was able to consume more 900 calories in less than 5 minutes. Next shot will be added bannanas and strawberry syrup. And Ill take 2-3 servings of oatmeal out. I wonder if my body was able to digest the whole drink since I drank it so fast?
Anonwhen you eat/drink what ever in order for the body to properly metabolize nutrients you need to have some sort of balance or your swole troll ass will start to look a bit.. .. fat.
Thats something that I do. I buy a container of steel rolled oats and using the blender I grind the whole thing down into a fine powder. I have a scoop that happens to hold a serving of oats, 40g ground up which is 150cals. Ill pour 16oz of whole fat chocolate milk in the blender (thats 2serv. at 210cals a serv.), add 2 scoops of my pre ground oats (150cals a serv), and 2 scoops of protein powder (mine is 160cals a serv)and blend it. Thats 1040 calories and 60g of protein (not including the 5g/serv of protein thats in the oats). I usually have this for breakfast cause I dont have much of an appetite when I wake up. Only thing is you cant drink it too slow because even though the oats were ground into powder they tend to settle if you sip too long. I also use Optimum Oats and Whey if Im in a hurry because it mixes easily with just a shaker but only rarely because my homemade brew is better. Trust me making it yourself is cheaper and better than the store bought crap, you cant beat a cheap, easy, and healthy source of over 1,000 calories. Hope this helped you out a bit bro
you MUST pre grind the oats by themselves. they will never grind to a powder once in the milk. its easiest to just grind the whole container down at once time you buy it instead of grinding everytime you make your drink. also you could use low fat milk if you wish, im an ectomorph so i can get away with whole fat.
Thankyou I will try this for sure.
here and there when i feel creative i do this, you have to blend the living shit out of your shake or else you have to chew it before swallowing it which is mildly nasty. all i did was 12 oz of milk with 2 tablespoons of oats with a protein powder and blended it until i couldnt heart the oats hitting the blender blades anymore.
