Zinc as boost to cycles?
ad
I've read that zinc could improve the power of AAS during cicles and decrease HTPA inhibition after cycle.
What do you think about that?

Dave_61Zinc actually has a number of benefits for the male body. Zinc can maintain a healthy heart, cardiovascular health, and protects against coronary artery disease. Zinc has anti-inflammatory properties making it beneficial for reducing risk factors associated with atherosclerosis, which is very beneficial to steroid users. Zinc also supports and promotes natural testosterone levels. Zinc supplementation can boost total and free testosterone levels.
Supplementation with zinc improves blood values like red blood cell count, hemoglobin, white blood cell count, and can maintain prostate health. Zinc boost testotestosterone levels by inhibiting the Aromatase enzyme. Severe zinc deficiency is associated with Hypogonadism. The recommended daily allowance of zinc is 40mg per day.
In addition to a healthy diet, zinc is shown to increase testosterone levels, especially in males that are deficient in the mineral. Vitamin B6 and magnesium also aid in zinc absorption and the converting of free cholesterol to testosterone.
It's all true - but if you take more than 50mg of Zinc a day (too much anyway) you also have to take copper as Zinc can cause a Copper deficiency. A lot of Zinc supplements now include Copper for this very reason.
Dave_61Really, I've never heard of that! I gotta check it out. My Zinc Picolinate has 22mg in each capsule, and then I get another 11mg of Zinc Oxide in my multivitamin, which I think is one of the low grade forms of zinc. And the rest I guess I get from my diet. My new Zinc Gluconate that I bought has 50mg in each capsule, but for some reason it says on the bottle that 50mg is 455% of your daily value of zinc. This, I don't understand.
Even when I looked up what the recommended daily allowance of zinc is, it said 15mg.
And when I was looking up the recommended daily allowance for zinc, I came across this article that said zinc is also used for treating acne. It said that 30-150mg elemental zinc daily has been used.
It seems the more I read about zinc, the more uses and benefits I find, especially for us who use gear. I would surely say that Zinc is definitely one of the most important elements in the human body.
As I understand it - approx 15mg PD of Zinc is sufficient for men - more than that might not be of any benefit for a normal, healthy adult male. Having said that, Zinc is a recommended supplement to assist in dealing with BPH. I take 25mg PD for that purpose (and obviously get more from my diet). My supplement doesn't have Copper included, so i limit myself to the 25mg. There are a number of studies out there regarding the Zinc/Copper relationship. Here is an abstract from a study. https://academic.oup.com/ajcn/article-abstract/40/4/743/4691419?redirect...
Most men can benefit from ZINC supplementation for many reason, this being another possibility.
I use 50mg chelate daily, no matter if I'm "on" or not.
Zinc has many very good benefits!
I've read it on "Chemical Muscle Enhancement II" by Rea.
Do you think is it a good source?
I know nothing of sources, but you should be getting 40mg/d of zinc. Should be obtainable with a balanced diet but if not, then I would supplement with a good multi-vitamin.
Only thing I know about zinc is that it can improve free test by inhibiting SHBG. Not sure how this translates into improving the power of AAS and never heard of it impacting HPTA either positively or negatively.
Doesnt provi do that and every one raves about the benefit from it. Seems zinc wouldnt be as harsh on lipids either. Not sure if it would work as much
StevebWhatever your body needs normally to build muscle it's gonna need more of it during a cycle.
