I'm a fan of Dymatize whey isolate. Inexpensive and the chocolate fudge flavor isn't half bad. I only use shakes post workout though, whole food all day long! So I don't go through a whole lot of powder.
I buy bulk. Dont really care too much about taste, back in the day I would make shakes from unflavored powder which tasted like death. These days I usually buy 20lbs at a time, only costs like $130 on ebay.
the container says isolate , and if your a costco member they are carring vanilla optimum nutrition isolate protein for like $58 and if you got their lil booklet this month you get $12 off ;) lol but instead i just bout some tri tip

lol i got the six star one from walmart couple times for $20 doesnt taste bad to bad you only get 1.5lbs comes out to be like 18 servings
