Protein...
ad
Well as I come closer to starting my cycle with test and eq I come to the question as to what kind of protein I should use.i normally use one with low calories and carbs but since my hunger will be greatly increased I was wondering if I should change types and go with something around 700-800 calories per shake to help feed my body and muscles and recover? Not sure if I can name protein names in this forum or not, but if you could recommend any kind or what you think I would appreciate it! Supplements that I will also be using are: liv 52ds, UDCA, fish oils, probiotics, glucosamine, chondroiton, creatine(5 grams/day), ZMA, and a heart pill I can't remember the name of right now. If I need t add anything else please let me know!

I like Synthepure the best out of all the ones I have tried. 100% pure whey isolate.
The supplements you use are fine, get a multi and you're set. Use simple whey protein between meals if you have to have protein supplements. Those 700+ calorie protein tubs are full of sugar and will get you bloated for sure. Plus expensive as shit for like 10 damn servings. Sweet potato for the extra hunger ;)
Forgot to mention that multi actually, and thanks that's what I was thinking, I dot want to bloat and whey has always given me solid gains and recovery. Thanks brotha
screw the supplements, what is your diet like?
Diet is in check, actually finishing school with exercise science bachelors degree so it's one of the first things I planned. Currently at around 3100-3300 calories a day and will be trying for 3750 while on cycle. Should I raise this level? I plan on weighing about 180 lbs when I start in July, I'm 5'8" tall.
Sorry for not answering your question directly, I feel like diet is where most people have problems so that's the first thing I ask.
I wouldn't raise the calories too much at first, just see how you get along with a slight increase such as the one you suggested and adjust if necessary. You know your body best so if you feel that's the amount of cals that will help you lean bulk then try and see if it works.
To be honest, you don't need those weight gainer shakes. Apart from the fact they are expensive as hell (something like $50 for 20 servings or so) and usually have unwanted fillers, you can easily make them yourself.
Just blend some milk, protein powder, instant oats, dextrose or any other simple carb (if desired) and nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts etc) together. You can even put in some coconut oil or so. This way you can decide the exact macros of the shake depending on your needs.
Otherwise it looks fine to me, I find that supplements aren't too important if diet + training is dialed in. Maybe add some casein protein in there just before bedtime.
You're fine brotha I appreciate you checking in. And ya I plan to increase about 50 calories per week until I feel as if I am comfortable with the load. And I do plan on trying shakes, but instead of coconut oil can I use soy milk or almond milk? And I will look into casein I used it once before but was not happy with how it broke down, the texture was just off. Is there any kind you would recommend? If you can't say brands out here could you PM me you're favorite kind? Thanks again man, much appreciated
Yes you can also use almond milk, that works out perfectly. I normally buy my powders in bulk from sites like myprotein and bulkpowders etc., but I've tried casein from weider and optimum nutrition before and both were good and easily mixable.
Casein usually has a slightly thicker texture, just water/milk it down more if your not a fan.
