+ 1 Opinions on pre-made stacks? (new, don't know a whole lot, a touch confused with acronyms etc...)
ad
I was just looking for some opinions from everyone on pre-made stacks from some of the recommended sites titled, 'beginner stacks' and what not. From what I have read on here, it is encouraged to take a few more things PCT than most of these stacks contain... Are they more of a suggestion to take more gear PCT, or you're an idiot if you don't?
Also, I'm leaning towards Anavar and test my first cycle(probably just minimum dosage recommended on the 'beginners' post I read on this website), should I just stick to just test the first time, or would a 'safer' product like anavar be okay? Sorry if I sound like an idiot.

Here's a link that will help you with the acronyms:

I posted about these "pre-designed" stacks like a week ago, and from almost every source they are shit. They mislead you to think everything you need is in them. If this is your first time go with Test only. Save the money on Var. You will see some amazing things from your first run, assuming your diet and lifts are spot on.
Make sure you have Test: a long estered test. I like Enanth over Cyp but no real rhyme or reason its just a preference. Make sure you have an AI (adex or aromasin and know the difference so you don't botch the dose). Make sure you have your PCT (nolvadex AND clomid) and make sure your diet is on point.
Viking made a sticky of things you need as well as what order to get them in... check that out.
But back to your original post... skip the pre made crap, and hold off on var. Check out what test can do on its own then next time add var. No rush dood, learn one by one what each compound can do for you! Good luck bro, pm me if you have questions
Yeah man, I have been doing a lot more research the last week, every night after work, actually. I read all the stickies to include Vikings. I will definitely follow everyones advice and take it one at a time. Safety is the overall goal.
Thanks again for the advice and the info on the premade stacks. I'll buy my own and stay away from the other stuff.
RustyhookerI dont see any stats or gym experience posted.
Please update
thank you
Sorry about that. Am I suppose to post that to every forum I start, or on my profile? I'm not trying to be rude or a smartass, I honestly am not sure. I was told earlier to update my profile with more detail and I completed that, but I was unaware if I was suppose to post it to every forum, it does make sense though, making ease of use for the ones reading.
I'm 6'1''. 190lbs. around 12-15ish% bodyfat. I started lifting and training at 18. I am 26 now. I weighed about a hundred pounds when I started and have never used any gear before. Only protein, pre and post workout drink, DV and omega's. I have been in the service for seven years, so I am basically forced to exercise on a regular basis, minimum five days a week, first thing in the morning from 6:30am to 8:00 am and usually make it to the gym after work about six days a week. I do a large variety of training, lifting to crossfit. Interested in staying lean and making lean gains, staying low body fat. Is there anything I can add to help my post receive more help?
Welcome bro. Take some time and read all you can on the site, it is full of great information, and the people here will provide you with solid information. There are sub groupings in the forums that deal with PCT and you may find the answers you are looking for there. If not, ask.
If you are at a point where your natural gains are plateauing, and you want to consider AAS, I think most here would recommend a 12-14 week cycle of Test Enanthate at ~500mg/week. Adding anavar during the cycle could help you stay a little leaner, but the intent here is to try the test on its own so that you can see how you react to it, without clouding the cycle with multiple substances.
Eroids does a good job of rating sources so you can use the experiences of others to help guide your purchasing experience and have some confidence in the supplier.
Further, get labwork done before, during and after cycle to monitor your body's responses and to take corrective action if needed, (ex. liver issues, gyno issues, etc.) And you always want to be prepared; never start a cycle until you have everything you need ON HAND...including PCT and aromatase inhibitors.
Hope this answers some questions.
Agree with 12 week cycle and info submitted, maybe hold off on Anavar though. Do that for second cycle.

Cool. Thanks for the info. I think I'll go ahead and start slow, and if I'm okay, I'll move onto something else.
waltrFirst cycle go with Test Enan or Cyp 500mg a week split between two shots [Mon/Thurs] for 10 weeks.
Take an AI [Aromasin/Arimidex] starting at week 3 [6.25mg EOD/.25mg EOD]
PCT 2 weeks after last injection.
Clomid: 100/100/50/50
Nolvadex: 40/40/20/20
That's a standard safe first cycle to see how your body react the exogenous testosterone. After you've felt out how things work and figured out how your body responds think about a second cycle including more than 1 drug.
Just my advice and the general consensus here on eroids.
Better to be safe than sorry.
I'm sorry to jump the thread but I am also starting a first cycle soon and need to get my gear together. Mine is a little different though because I am 48 195-200- lbs and currently 19% BF. Your advice sounds like what i need but my goals are more towards leaning out. If i could lose about 15 lbs of fat and add 5-7 of muscle, i'd be happy. Because of my age and bodyfat i think I should run the Test at 125-250 mg. per week. I can get clomid and Nolva but I cannot get an AI. If i run the lower dose of Test, will I need the AI. Also, I am currently on 2.5 IU of HGH and can hopefully lower my BF 2 or 3% before I start.
I started training when i was 15. I have been in and out of shape all my life. You know, break a bone, eat too much ice cream, bone heals and back in shape in 12 weeks. However, at 48 the body doesn't respond like it used to. I wrote a Master's thesis two and a half years ago and gained a lot of fat. I've gotten rid of most of it and at 48 I look good. I do 30 minutes of cardio daily with my HR around 140 for the duration. Every third day I blast with wind sprints on gym bike or running. I stretch and do yoga and have maintained a great deal of my flexibility.
So, at a Low dose of TEST will I need an AI? While i'm at it, will I need the Clomid?...I'm a little scared of the sides.
Thanks
Hey thanks a lot waltr for the info. That is what I am reading a lot of, exactly what you said to test the waters. I think it's just the curiosity in me because I've been exercising for pretty much a solid seven years now, with a large variety of types of exercise, but never used anything other than the basics. (pre and post workout drink, protein, DV and omega's).
I appreciate your advice and am about 150% I'll take your advice and be safe. Could you please break down the acronyms for me though? I can't seem to find anything on EOD, and what exactly the 100/100/50/50 means. Is that starting two weeks, 100 and last two weeks 50 each?
waltrEOD - every other day
week 1/week 2/week 3/week 4 the dosages are daily dosages
I apologize for that, I really should have mentioned that in the first post
Now I feel dumb. EOD, makes sense. Military has so many acronyms, that one already has two meanings to me. Thanks again, waltr, I appreciate you taking the time.
