New to this, needing advice.
Ok I just finished my first cycle ever, and I am hearing from a freind or two that I really messed things up. I am not so sure that is entirely true but I will admit it was very reckless.
I am 6ft 1, 220lbs. Have been lifting for about 8 years and I am 31 years old. I train for powerlifting and enjoy lifting heavy weights. I also care about how I look but for the most part I mostly want to be a big guy and very strong. And look decent. I train about 4 days per week consistently.
My first cycle I was irresponsible and stayed "on" for about 5 months. Here is how it went.
Weeks 1-7 Test E, 250/wk
Weeks 7-10 Test E, 500/wk
Weeks 11-14 Test E 750/wk
Weeks 14-17 Test E 500/wk
Weeks 17-20 Test E 250/wk
Its about week 23 now and I am "off" but using Nolva at 40/day and starting Chlomid today as it just arrived in the mail. Will use Nolva and Chlomid for pct and then take a couple months off.
I think my biggest issue is going off now for so long. It was going so good I simply wanted to keep going. Very irresponsible and that will not be happening again. I am hoping to get back on in a couple months and do straight 500/wk with some var in there as well. Maybe 500/wk of test E all the way through with anavar all the way through the 12 weeks as well. No more than 12 weeks this time and get pct before cycle to be full yprepared. I did not have any sides at all this time and I still dont see any change other than a loss in weight now that I am off.
I am simply looking for opinions about my first cycle, pct, possibly bridging sometime, and my next cycle.
Thank you very much, I appreciate it.

Ok. If I may interject... I referred pincer to this site because he wouldn't listen to me througout his cycle so now he is paying for it. You knew better than to go longer than 12 weeks but did it anyway. I also told you not to go higher than 500mg but you did it anyway. You know of one other situation that I told you not to get into but you did it anyway and are now paying for it. (Ok, that was just a fun jab at you know what. ;)
Point is. You are a stubborn asshole (all love bro) and are going to do what you will. I just want to know how you are feeling in a couple weeks.
I did my research and tried to help out. I still haven't done my first cycle but have everything on hand when I get going and am going to keep it simple. I'll learn from your mistakes.
Both of us train for powerlifting so as far as being super lean and ripped, that isn't goal #1 but it would be good to stay looking decent and healthy. I for one know my diet isn't always as good as it should be and how hard it is with a busy schedule. Neither of our works will allow us to eat every 2 hours. I would imagine if we are at least getting extra protein shakes in at this time that this would suffice for taking in protein during those times although idealy it would be good to get some chicken and rice in.
My worry is that if you didn't eat well on cycle, what is going to make you do it now? You have already lost desire to train. I know with less training, at least for me, my appetite goes downhill along with it. I want to see you do well man and hope you don't crash too hard after this. I'm glad you came on here asking for advice. This is where I have learned 99% of what I got so far.
Oh, one more thing... Come lift at a real gym sometime if your wife will ever let you off your leash!
adonis_1 you are a pain in the ass. But really thanks for all the good advice all the time. I feel fine after that cycle just feel like I dont have the motivation. But im toughing it out and getting it done. I think I am going to be completely fine but I know next time I am going to get more out of it by doing it right. For some dumb reason I went and researched all sorts of other things and picked the things I liked and ran with them. I listened to inexperienced people and blogs and I dont think I got the most out of it. It was still a good thing as I made some great gains and I now have a taste for things, but I most certainly will be doing it the right way next time making it possible to get the most out of it. Timing, Proper Use, Training, and Diet are all key here. Im ready to do things the way it was meant to be and to be safe and smart at the same time.
I feel you bro, some listen some dont all we can do is try ...........
tread-mI'm about to drill you a new asshole beside the one you have but give me your bf% first? Lol...no have some help coming but full picture needs bf for advice.
Well, you can drill me thats fine i can take it. I just wanna do shit the right way next time. I seem to be fine, but I dont expect to be fine all the time winging shit like I did. I dont know body fat. The stupid scale bf percentage was something like 13 percent but that is definately not true.
tread-mOk lets start by saying you're here brother which shows you want to properly cycle and do it right. First things first, diet is 90% of goal and especially off cycle. When off cycle you have to eat for the goal or your hard work goes away. There are 100 ways to eat depending on your goal so don't get stuck on this "diets in place" thing that seems to be going around. One diet may achieve a goal for someone but even though you have the same goal and general stats it won't work for you. Diet is an evolution to the goal and it is the goal in my opinion. If you set your thoughts on everything else and don't realize the diet is controlling everything you fight your way to goal and never get there. If a progress is not occurring, it is likely what is wrong given gym and juice are easy. Anyone can figure out the workout routines with a little help and certainly the gear routine and protocol with a little help but diet is the real work. Get the kitchen right and everything falls into place I promise. This includes and in fact especially includes off cycle. you will not retain muscle that took a specific diet to get without continuing the use of that diet or bigger. Off cycle you lift heavy with less reps to get out of the gym quicker and mi nimize cardio in the first few weeks post cycle. We don't want to burn up all that work while your body reboots the natty. As well, push your diet to extremely clean with proper carbs for goal and keep the protein high! I like protein going in my body every 2 hrs, certainly not longer than 3 hrs. You are now fighting to keep what you earned which means we have to earn it all over again every single day, its a battle against wjat your body and metabolism want to do and what YOU WANT IT TO DO. It will easily win if you don't fight that good fight in the kitchen daily over and over again! Ok, lets get this "bridge" shit out of your head. I know what you are referring to and its STUPID WRAPPED IN STUPID IN STUPID SAUCE WITH STUPID SPRINKLES. Put it down, walk away from it and never look back. Lol i say this, a bridge keeps you shut down so if I am going to be shut down I'm going to be shut down with big numbers oozing out of that pin. So essentially, forget about it and do your cycles off and on proper time, clear reseptors and blow up again next time. Next cycle is simple and its this "if bf is in order"....
Test E 1-10 @600
Test prop @ 100 eod 1-4
Var @ 80 split 11-14
Test prop @100 eod 11-14
Pct begins 2 days after last pin and its 4 weeks @ clomid 100/100/50/50 and nolva 40/40/20/20
If you don't have this bf dialed in you fail on the var run here. The lower the bf the better the run with any compound you are trying to cut and or harden with. Eat mega clean during this off time, big in protein and read and research and study how carbs control the quality of a cycle if everything else is in order. Given your lifting goals its hard to think you want the shredded thing but if so you can PM me and we can go over. how to lead into a cut run close and how to leave the cycle properly. Diet is where you study brother, you have people to help with all of this but understanding why and how the diet is what controls it all is paramount or you just have different degrees of success which really means different degrees of failur when you get down to it right? Btw...bloods are a roadmap, use them.
All I can say is wow. This diet has been killing me ever since. I started out working out some stuff for a better diet only to end like an idiot. Im telling you when a guy lives in a hurry all the time it is not an easy thing to keep up. I am certain that before I cycle again my diet will be the number one focus.
Your cycle you have up there..... your saying start and end the cycle with prop? I like this idea as it would clear up the thought of wanting faster results with dry gains if I am not mistaken. Is this a good second cycle? I dont want to walk out into a risky plan you know. I really just want to be responsible this next cycle and do things the right way. in my inexperienced opinion that cycle looks awesome, now its work on this diet thing obtain all my ancillaries before next cycle, take a good break and do this right next time.
Thank you so much for that advice.
tread-mYes, as was said below me, very resposible cycle, very conservative second cycle and very effective. I neglected one thing, have aromasin or adex on hand we will likely use it at one point. Drink nothing but water on this thing and plenty of it and limit salt big time! The prop front load gets the cycle started "today" and the prop taper at the end allows long ester to clear and short ester to take over getting you to pct quicker post cycle rather than the normal 2 week wait. Diet in place and bf in order this cycle is blow your mind effective with conservative compounds and conservative mg's and conservative length of time.
X2 All the way here on the money as ever brother big T knows his shit and lays it down in a way only he can.
Excellant info right here.
