+ 12 Lazy steroid use

ad

I'm going to pretend to be a new member here. Here are my stats and background. Forget it's really me for a bit ok?

30 years old, 6ft, 170lbs, 15% BF. Been lifting for 6 months now, hit a plateau, can't make any gains any more so I got myself some juice. I'm not going mad, it's a conservative cycle of test / deca at low doses. I may "throw in" some orals depending on how it goes.

My training is great, I'm in the gym 2 hours a day 5 days per week. My diet is in check, (I've heard bros like that phrase and it will help me fit in). I have a protein shake and oats for breakfast, chicken and rice for lunch, then a meat and vegetable dinner. I train in the evenings and have another protein shake post workout.

So, my plateau. I've gained 10lbs, but now I can't gain any more. I'm a hard gainer / crap genetics / various other excuses that make it much harder for me than it is for the rest of you, so you see I HAVE TO use gear. Don't try and talk me out of it, I've already got it from a bro, (got that bro word in again, these folk will think I'm a badass now). I need help with my cycle setup and pct, (whatever that is, some sort of sexually transmitted disease by the sound of it), and anything else my bros, (got it in again), think I need to get or know.

Thanks bros, (definitely one of the gang now).

Obviously this is meant to be "tongue in cheek", but what's wrong here? It's not just eroids, I see this in the gym constantly now. Owning one has really opened my eyes to the fact that a massive majority of steroid users are nowhere near using up their natural potential. There are kids in my gym on gear that have less meat on them than a chicken nugget. They barely stress their bodies when they train then wonder why they aren't growing. Part of me wants to ban them all, but it's probably not the best business manoeuvre ever.....

Go have a look at the profiles of guys like Italian, Makwa and Tonyt, (hope you fellas don't mind me using you as examples). Look at the density and the maturity of what they've carved out in their pics. Then go and look at the self pics section or better still some of the utter clown behaviour in the cycle logs. You'll see what I mean. These guys built a solid base, then finished off the last 10% with gear. Now go and find someone like that Bostin Lloyd lad. You see the difference? I train 20 year old kids with better physiques who haven't touched gear.

I'll just come out with it, it's lazy. That's what a lot of people are these days, lazy. Lazy people irritate me, which is generally quite a tough thing to do."Muscles in a bottle", that's not what steroids are. Build a base, train hard, eat well and when you TRULY start to get at least near your natural potential, maybe, just maybe, consider AAS use. That guy at the top, my "alter ego", he's not ready. He probably never will be. He's lazy and he probably doesn't have what this lifestyle requires. He wants the result with none of the work.

If you're "that guy", I'm not helping you with steroids. I'll help you with diet and your training, but no gear for "lazy people"

kodiakGRRL's picture

lol.. no I don't think so, they are just less likely to publically argue about it and do it anyway

Catalyst's picture

Are you sure? Women aren't more sensible and responsible? It must be true, my wife told me that Smile

kodiakGRRL's picture

lmao... this is a trap .. lol..

The world really needed more people like you a few years ago when GNC and just about every other sports/fitness/nutrition shop was selling superdrol and M1T to the local high school football team. Excellent post, hopefully this will open some eyes

DrocktheBody's picture

The issue I have is that these "lazy" kids are going to go for it anyway. They will use the wrong compounds/ wrong amount of compounds and wrong AI. They won't clean and sterilize correctly and use improper injection sites. I've been a member for several years, but rarely give advice, I still consider mysef new to AAS.
But I have taken to giving newbs basic advice in pm's (I don't do it on open forum, because that group mentalility of "ganging" up on people is very prevelant here.) It's the old addage that if you tell someone what they can't and shouldn't do they probably will. I think the best "we" can do as a group is to mentor and coach the youngsters. Talk to them 1 on 1 (PM) where they don't feel threatened. Explain to them how to reach natty goals, talk to them about diet and and body fat. I like to tell them my story and why I waited till I was mid 30's before I started. I also like to go over all of the mistakes I've made along my journey.

I understand the company line, and agree with it. All I'm saying is don't loose your humanity and forget that everyone was a beginner at one time. Someone probably took all of you under their wing at one point as a mentor. It's a complicated world, with complicated compounds and delicate balances and takes time to learn.

Be a positive influence and I guaruntee you will change someone's life for the better.

Catalyst's picture

Valid well made points mate. Always been a tough balancing act, guess it always will be.

Whitetrash's picture

Well said Catalyst. Its like some guys think steroids are magic beans that will make you grow with fuck all training and a bad diet. That's why we see so many guys on their 4th cycle throwing everything but the kitchen sink into the mix and still weighing less at the end than someone running test only with proper diet and training.

growthman's picture

Catalyst I didn't see any pics of you on your user page; just pics of gear. Do you have any pics of your physique or just gear?

Catalyst's picture

You will never see any pictures of me on here, it's not worth my career. I don't even have a facebook account.

People like Viking know who I am.

growthman's picture

Smart man right there

Hustle28's picture

Steroids should only be used to polish the gains that been built through out the yrs..... This is why aas has such a bad history not only is it due to guys that abuse and overload but it's the ignorant people that use these drugs and not have a clue what they are doing to there bodies.

This is why when I see people asking for advice just like the example cat used I rather not even waste my time cuz usually these fucks always argue and not accept the reality which is they shouldn't slam gear until they have properly trained their bodies and have done proper research

Justanotherguy's picture

I am going to favorite this and reference it whenever I see it again, hope you don't mind. Every single day for the last week I've seen it. ( the belly button guy was the worst).

AAS shouldn't be used a crutch. Instant gratification is just a part of today's society. Look at the guys that bitch about their gear not being at their doorstep in a week. It's a damn shame.

tonytulo's picture

Tell me about it he got soo mad at me said he was going to kill me and fuck my corpse or something of that nature.

Justanotherguy's picture

I sincerely believe he was either a really good troll, or a mentally disturbed person.

But necrophilia is... Thats just sick man. That guy needs help

Catalyst's picture

I didn't see it develop, but I did see the early stage when he was asked why the finger thing. When he responded "because it's kinda funny" I thought "this is a young kid". Didn't he claim to be 30 something?

tonytulo's picture

33

Catalyst's picture

My 8 year old might find that funny. 33? Either bullshitting about his age or incredibly immature.

tonytulo's picture

My 5 year old would be hysterical. There is no way in hell he was 33 or he was trolling hard.

Dickkhead's picture

If you're "that guy", I'm not helping you with steroids.

Problem is people rush in and help. All the time. Folks looking to build karma, looking to get some eroids street credit if they have some knowledge, do gooders and the rest of the lot.

So, I'll take a look at the guys stats and I will rant a little and say just what you are saying - "I'm not helping you with steroids." Then members of the community rush in behind me in the thread and start offering AAS help where they absolutely should not. I can't say it makes me feel like an ass, but it certainly makes me seem "mean spirited" and I'm absolutely not.

So, I think the community needs to come together as one voice united on this. Even though the OP may be of age we are not gonna give cycle advice to the 6' 160 lb. guy. Period.

Catalyst's picture

"Mean spirited" is most certainly not something you are mate. Quite the contrary and anyone that says differently clearly has some questionable judgement.

I also believe we need to act as a unit on this, but that's obviously for others to decide. I've made it 100% clear where I stand, the same place I've always been. It may seem harsh at times, but I honestly believe anything else is largely doing somone a disservice.

humpnpump's picture

You do a great job at helping noobs out and working the cycle logs. It doesn't go un-noticed.

Dickkhead's picture

Thanks bro. Appreciated.

Theophany's picture

Unfortunately, this post screams reality! How many times have we seen guys running ridiculous doses without some sort of a foundation! They think running a gram of Tren is going to turn them into a Dorian Yates in one cycle! It's all about hard and consistent training and a disciplined diet! I trained for over thirty years natural! I utilize low end doses just to sculpt and shape! Anabolics are a finishing product to perfect what has been built! That being said great post brother Catalyst! +2 for some very keen insight!

humpnpump's picture

So true Catalyst. I've watched a few of these freshman college kids the last yr blow up and shrink right back to where they started at. You can tell when they are on cycle cause they're at the gym then they go missing for a month or 2 and come back to the gym 10 to 15 lbs less than when they left. They strut around the gym one set of everything and grunting and snarling at the mirror and standing around talking, playing with their phones and fondling their balls. They don't even consider working out unless they are on some gear. That's all it comes down to is lazy ass's.

tonytulo's picture

Well said cat. In all honesty I haven't been really impressive the past few months, but things are changing now. ITs my turn now, the wife made her transformation and is just maintaining , so its my time. The coming progress pics will shock people.

Now im not standing for this shit anymore guys and gals turning to gear to get into shape. It is not crutch , you should be in shape before you turn to aas. Aas is something you turn to when your seasoned. You build the foundation before you try to paint the fucking house. If someone specifies they're indeed and alternate athlete then we approach it that way, but even athletes are in some sort of shape. If your over 6 foot and aren't below 15% bf and over 200lbs you have a diet problem along with half assed training period. Christ we have guys under 5'8 running around over 200 under 15%. Too many kiddies and grown folks using gear before they are ready and fighting tooth and nail to justify their foolishness. I'm glad to see the vets of the site both new vets and old standing together to push things in the right direction. It isn't BFGs job or the mods to enforce the correct way to do things to these fools its ours, its our site , our house, if we let the fools rush in and ruin shit we have ourselves to blame.

I've gone out on multiple limbs helping people with diet and training as I do it in real life for part time work.

tonytulo's picture

I make my rounds. If I don't comment its because someone has already said what I would've said , and I don't feel the need to repeat a similar answer. Many say I'm very dry and can be a bit abrasive, I just don't like to tip toe or sugar coat. I was brought up in a fairly strict atmosphere where if I was fucking up I got told point blank, I wasn't pampered. Some say its a gift and a curse. There are quite a few guys here who know a great deal, some don't comment because they don't want to argue , some have busy day to day lives, some have just done soo much here they burn out, some days I'll be here a lot other days I wont due to every day life. Some days guys get sick of repeating the sane thing over and over and get irritated because people do zero research and want their hand to be held the whole way.

IrishMack's picture

I feel insulted I was not part of your list of chiseled physiques. Not really but you are correct.

Catalyst's picture

You know I love you really ;)

IrishMack's picture

And when you come back to the states you owe me and Tony some steaks and a couple games of pool since we missed you the 1st time around Blum 3

Catalyst's picture

IrishMack's picture

Hugs and kisses....Ill post my progress pics soon, big change in size and definition I promise just keep inspiring me Smile

Catalyst's picture

That's pretty worrying to hear. Be interesting to look also me medical data ten years down the line for those kids.

"the beauty of this sport is the journey"

That's so true. I know for me it's the journey that keeps making me put myself through it.

italian92101's picture

X 2 beautiful quote!!! Hey cat nice piece you wrote!! damn i don't write often, but that guy I wanted to help, I offered him to help him with is diet and training, didn't hit me back ,so yes , lazy mofos, end of story, if you really want it, you got to do it the right way, or stay skinny!!!

konig's picture
