Going from TRT to a cycle...
ad
I'm currently doing a TRT regimen and taking 200mg/week of Test C, after being diagnosed with low T. I was thinking of trying a 12 week cycle of Test E at 500mg/wk and maybe some dbol.
My blood work, 6 weeks into my TRT, said that my Test was 603 (ng/dL), and Free Test was 158 (pg/mL). I've been on TRT for about 15 weeks now.
Should I stop the TRT for some weeks before starting the cycle?

RustyhookerOnly 6 weeks into trt..... no you shouldnt cycle. Get your baseline set
No, 6 weeks in is when those numbers were taken. I'm 15 weeks in the TRT right now. : )
I'd imagine my numbers may be a little higher after 15 weeks, but not sure. I was just providing the numbers that I had at 6 weeks to maybe add some perspective to my situation.
You need to be stable for a length of time before you cycle, otherwise it is a yoyo/rollercoaster ride.
The other thing to consider is future blood tests, probably at about 6 months. If you cycle now your levels will be so high, it will get you kicked off TRT from your doctor. When you cycle it will take 6-8 weeks for your levels to drop to normal (depending on half life of the ester).
Just take your 200mg of test Cyp and get/stay stable and cycle later.
Do some research on AI's and estrogen, a cycle is not a last minute decision.
Only "kicked" out of TRT if your doctor has an issue with it. I did a cycle after 6 months or so of TRT and when I got bloods my endo was like, "holy shit shit!" "We need to back off a bit." I know he wasn't stupid and knew I was juicing, 3,000+ test level and "slight" increase in size were pretty much a dead giveaway. But he's cool and that's when I knew I was golden. Ordering labs on, off cycle. I'm fortunate to be in this situation. But yes, you should be on TRT for a bit before a cycle.
Agreed. 15 weeks total isn't that long. I'd personally at least wait 6 months to a year. Or at least til you're established and AI is dialed in if you need one.
RustyhookerEasier than Dr kicking him out of the program. Plus all the bloodwork to map his body..... gold!
No.
No, just stick with Test E, and if you continue with 200mg/week of Test Cyp, then only add no more than 300mg of Test E.
Thanks for your feedback.
Just to clarify...
So when I cycle, do 300mg/wk Test E plus 200mg/wk Test C, OR, just 500mg/wk Test E?
And are you suggesting I stay away from dbol?
Thanks again.
always do the 200 cyp is what he's saying (and I agree). add any "cycle" on top of that, but remember you're already taking 200cyp, so to make 500 for your cycle, you only need to add 300/wk on top of that. Or if your 200 if shooting for 400/wk total, etc.
never stop what you're prescribed.
and remember you don't want to go in for bloods at your next appointment with sky high levels. so keep that in mind
Nice, thanks!!
noguruTotally agree
