Can't find adequate answer for HCG on cycle

ad

I was wondering why most everyone recommends to take HCG for the entire cycle, but all of the information I can find on it says to not take it for any longer than 3 to 4 weeks continuously. From the information I've been reading if you take it for an extended peroid of time or at very high dosages you run the risk desensitizing your testes response to your natural LH, which could even result in permanent inadequate gonadal function. Is the small dosage (500 iu/week) the reason people are comfortable with taking HCG for longer peroids of time? It just seems like a contradiction to me that a substance that is being taken to ease the transition from a shut down state to a normal state is being taken in a manner that could possibly shut you down. I also realize that this may just be another risk vs reward scenario, but would still be interested to hear what some of the more knowledgeable members think about this. Thanks.

not that I know a ton of science behind HCG use, but I have also researched that extended use can cause damage. Most bro's I know will split dosing into a series of 3-4 wks usage with a blast before PCT.

IE. for a 16 week cycle, I would run HCG WKs 3-7, then 9-13, and a 10 day blast that ends 4 days before SERM treatment.

It is more the idea of not needing to chase around the horse, when you can just keep him in the barn in the first place Smile

Another I've heard is, why let the tire deflate, when you will eventually need to pump it back up.

HCG use, in this scheme, keeps the horse close to the barn, the tire relatively pumped, and has absolutely aided in my natural recovery and retention of gains. just my .02

Thanks for the reply. I will consider 3 weeks on, few weeks off, then finish the cycle with HCG (only plan on running 12 week cycle).
