Beginner Cycle

ad

Hello All -

I have even doing research and would just like some constructive guidance please. I am 32, 5'10" and 190lbs. My bf is at 19%. I am looking to cut fat and gain some mass. I am not interested in bulking up. I would like to run a beginner cycle of Test E and would just like some guidance on the dosage, schedule and what else I should take alone with the Test E. Thank you and any help is greatly appreciated.

I've read your answers to all the questions. 1 Your diet isn't right. Way too much sugar. You can use the magnifying glass ping pong paddle thing up top the page to find cutting diets, and obviously use google too. 2. You've never had your hormones checked. Annual physicals don't normally check any hormones. Go to your doctor and tell them you feel lethargic and have no libido, ask for a full hormone check. Tell them you did research and think you have all the symptoms of low test or high estrogen. Or go get it all tested at a lab yourself, the first way gets insurance to pay for it tho. If it all comes back normal then great, it's just your diet holding you back. Plus you've got your precycle bloodwork all set.

Follow all the advice everyone gives you here and in just a few months you could be the same weight at 14 percent or less. Then run test only cycle in the spring and have girls dripping for you..as long as you keep the acne under control.....

I will. Thanks for the input.

Good info below. You sound mesomorph. Do you know what your body type is?

Sorry I do not. I've always been a bigger person. Broad shoulders I mean.

Protein is the engine, fats and sugar are the fuel. Sugar and fat are horrible together. Sugar spikes insulin, insulin will then store the fat. After you lift eat about 60 grams protein then eat the fruit 15 minutes later. The insulin spike from fruit will help store the protein (fructose isn't the best way to spike insulin but u got to eat fruit). Might aswell get some benefit from it. Eat at least 40 grams protein every 2-3 hours, no matter what. First thing in the morning is second most important time to eat protein and before bed is third, all are important.

Shit one more thing. Anavar is....in my opinion NOT worth it.

Oh ya and if u decide on a test cycle. A short acting test is better for your first cycle. Propionate for example, if a issue comes up you want have to wait a month to get it out of your system.

I get the impression your gonna cycle no matter what anyone says. And it sounds like you train A LOT even if only for 1 year. My theory on weight training is intensity is way more important than duration. 2 hours 6-7 days a week doesn't sound right. Train like your life depends on it and you only have an hour to get it done. High reps high intensity. 2 hours is too long. If you really want to cycle I recommend a low dose just to see how you react to it, 8-10 weeks. Make sure have all your shit together for afterward. Maybe look into that keto diet that Konig recommended. As far as fruit stick with berries, less sugar.

Agree on the high reps. In addition, the weight should be light. The rests in between sets should be around 45 seconds.

Thanks for the valuable info. I can't say I'll do it anyway, just want to get advice and if it is better to hold off, then I will. That's what it's sounding like at this point.

There's a "Peter Attia: An advantaged metabolic state", youtube video you might want to check out. It's about Ketogenic diet. A lot of info about it. It's over an hour long.

I've read time and time again that Test E is probably the best route for a beginner like me but maybe starting with Anavar might be good as well? Again, any constructive help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been working out for about 1 year now and have always played sports. I've put on muscle mass but at a very slow pace. I've always had problems with my weight and I'm not looking for an easy solution, just think I would benefit from some help. I've dropped about 25lbs in the last 6 months.

Thank you. I've been working out off and on for the last 10 years or so but fell off the bandwagon about 3 years ago due to personal problems. I've been able to do okay this past year as far as getting healthy but getting rid of fat has always been a challenge. My body is just strange that way. At one point, I had to drastically cut my food intake and that was the only way that my body was able to drop the fat. Again, I just have a very slow metabolism and with the amount of cardio I am doing now, I would not be able to cut, not would I really want to cut my food intake. I lift weights two hours a day in the morning, do about 30 minutes or cardio and then in the afternoon, do 3 hours of intensive Muay Thai training which leaves me drained.

I would get that bodyfat down before running a cycle. With more fat you will get more sides. Estrogen love bodyfat so you will risk more issues with Gyno etc.

When you get your bodyfat down you will want to run Anastrozole to control E2, def. run HCG to keep your testes functioning properly, and be sure to run a strong PCT with Nolva and Clomid.

That's part of my problem...I can't seem to get my body fat % lower.

Thanks. I actually do quite a bit of cardio and my good intake is pretty clean. I have a cheat meal once a week, lift weights 6 days a week and do cardio 2 times per day, 6 days a week. My problem has always been a very slow metabolism.

Well, I go for my annual check up with my doctor every year and he has always said that everything is normal. I eat a bowl of oatmeal and a side of fruits for breakfast. For lunch I eat chicken breast with salad and a fruit shake. I do usually have milk in the afternoon along with a serving of fruits and nuts. For dinner, I also have chicken breast and salad along with fruit.

Seems you have a lot of fruit...natural or not it's still a ton of sugar. Also you only have 2 meals with a complete source of protein in them. That is why you aren't building muscle at the rate you could be. Overall you are lacking in food as well. By the time "lumchtime" comed around ive put down a shakr and 3 meals, just to givr you an idea of ehat you should be aiming for. This diet will not work regardless if you are going to juice or not.
