Why do I get stronger during PCT
I've noticed a trend over my last few cycles that I become stronger during pct more so than when on cycle. This is good and bad because everyone wants to hold their gains after a cycle. But last year about this time I tore my left pec during pct because had increased my bench press 60 lbs in a month, which was to much weight to fast for my tendons and they ripped. I know partly that during my cycle I was doing a cut and had minimal cals. During Pct carbs just fuel my strength, when I'm trying to maintain. Last cycle was a bulker though and I had plenty of cals and carbs, but now in pct and still stronger. Example did 400 x 1 squats and now 400 x 5 during pct. Why is that?
Pct consist of:
Clomid 100/100/50/50
Nolvadex 20/20/10/10
Exemestane 12.5/12.5/ 6/6
Ghrp 2 or 6 3x day
HCGentrate supplement 5 pills a day.

I know this thread is old but I felt the same way on my pct that I finished before I stated this bulk cycle for me I want to say it was a mental thing. my pct was torem nolva ghrp6 did not used clomid but I was lifting heavy well for me anyway 345 for 8 on deads
Just recently hit my PR on shoulder press (225 was 215)..4 weeks into pct. Dropping weight but strength is same or greater. Interesting..
Im in the tail end of my first PCT and had a similar experience. I didnt have much of an appetite the first 2 weeks, but still kept most of the weight. I went from 208 at the end of the cycle down to 203, but this last couple weeks Ive been just ravenously hungry and not holding back and Ive actually gained and am up to 210 now. I also dropped from 5-6 days a week lifting on cycle down to 3-4 days during PCT. ive been concentrating on the big 3, basically squat on monday with some accesory lifts, bench on Wednesday, and deadlift on Friday. I was hitting the 100lb dumbbells on flat bench for about 10 on cycle and last week I hit it for 15. Squats I was getting 365 for 5-6 and now Im up to a solid 8. My endurance has not stayed as good tho. On cycle I was getting those 10 reps on all 4 sets of DB presses but this last week I hit the set of 15, but then came back and only got 8,7,5 on the subsequent sets. I found it interesting too, im glad you made this thread.
It seems allowing the recovery time makes a big factor in gaining strength, and using GH or ghrps during Pct allows quick recovery as well.

Ya it was a good break, but now Im starting to feel soft only lifting 3 days a week lol. Im gonna kick it back up to 5 next week and maybe just cut back on volume a bit.
BillLumbergh1 week into my first PCT as well. Dude my strength is climbing insanely. Broken 2 prs on bench & squat... thought it was a bit weird but I'm fuckin loving it. Also with tamox, aro, and tor I shed a lot more water weight and I look way better than I did my entire cycle. And I've maybe lost 2 lbs tops...

Damn that's awesome to hear! How's your diet looking during PCT? I know I eat a shit ton more on PCT cause I am a paranoid fucker haha extra calories could help the strength and recovery.
I tend to eat a tad less during pct, but I will have a once a week anything day, like burgers, pizza, etc.
I feel exactly the same.. 2 PCT's deep now and both with the same results. I've broken more PR's on PCT than on cycle.
I know from experience i can bounce back on top if things are run properly. Never loose a beat man keep on keeping on!
ZewiAnabolXim tired so bare with me, and i really don't feel like writing something big.. so here is a drive by..
When on cycle you are increasing protein synthesis, your tearing muscle faster to build more muscle fiber. But what happens during cycle alot of the times, is we push and push we are getting strong but we dont always allow our muscle fibers to heal all the way.. so think of it like this...
you have a stack of cards of 10..(these our your muscle fibers)
you take aas and now you have 15
but while on cycle you build so fast the fibers don't completely heal.
so when you tare your muscle to build more muscle you have been going (thing cards again) 10 stacks to start now your at 11, and when you tear them (your muscle fibers you go back to 10) and than now your at 12 and tear all the way back to 10 and so forth till you get to 15 on cycle.
what happens is protein synthesis slowes down.. now those new muscles fibers have more time to heal cause your not going from 15 to 10 your going 15-12 well thats 2 extra muscle fibers (cards) and so forth, your body is healing thats why...

Makes a lot of sense Zewi. I go from 5 days a week on cycle to a maintaince of 3 after cycle, which not in an anabolic state allows my muscles to recouperate. I think GH or even peptides ghrp's play an important role during PCT, recovery, I mean there are times during pct I feel like just crusching forward, but the heavy weight scares the shit out of me. I've slow down trying more reps to get tendons conditioned. I know it's a positive because I move forward and never fall back, except for the injuries that occur from increasing to fast.

It's weird i lose a few pounds but gain strength. I'm not complaining lol just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.
