Low Testosterone at 25. Please Help.

ad

Hi! Firstly I would like to introduce myself.
Current Stats:
I am 25 year old male.
Height : 5’11”
Weight : 69kgs.

Cycle history : April 2014 (only cycle till date)
Test E 500 split every week for 12 weeks
Dianabol – 30mg for 4 weeks
Anavar – low dosage for week 9-12
HCG – 500mg split every week from week 6-12
Arimidex – 0.25 mg eod from week 1-14
Nolvadex – 40/20/20/20
Clomid – 75/50/50/50
Gains : I gained around 8 kgs and managed to keep 70% of total gain. After this cycle I went to study overseas and never did another cycle in these 2 years.
Note: Never did bloodwork pre or post cycle till yesterday as I intended to start another cycle.
After I saw my Testosterone total results my whole world came crashing down along with my confidence and security. I could not sleep entire night and had to call my mom and girlfriend inorder to console myself. Okay without anymore drama I want to say that my testosterone levels are low i.e. 216 ng/dl (normal range: 400-1080).
This explains my difficulty of gaining muscles over past two years, mood swings, tiredness, depression and my lack of libido. I don’t get morning woods as I used to get precycle. I have difficulty in maintaining erection.
I will do further check ups i.e. estradiol, LH, FSH.
**Note: I am considering doing power pct by Dr. Michael Scally.
Also I intend to update this post until the end results so that youngsters can learn from my mistake and guys learning to correct it can learn.

~~~UPDATE 2~~~
RESULTS :
Reference Range
TT - 216 ng/dl 400-1080
FT - 6.5 pg/ml 4.25 - 30.37
E2 - 27.4 pg/ml 0 - 56
FSH. - 2.86mIU/ml 1.5-12.4
LH. - 4.15.mIU/ml 1.7-8.6
Prolactin. - 17.69 ng/ml 4- 15.2
Guys anything from this results??
~~~UPDATE 3~~~
Date: 05/05/2016
RESULTS:

TT - 578.6 (RR 400-1080)
FSH - 5.36 (RR 1.5-12.4)
LH - 11.29 (RR 1.7-8.6)
CBC - Normal
Prostate Specific Antigen - 0.352 ng/ml (RR 0 - 4.44)
Semen Analysis - Normal
(**RR - Reference Range)
After 6 days of clomid therapy i have noticed improvement in mood and sleep, my erection is much stronger although libido is not great. I still haven't noticed morning wood. From the reports i can see that T levels are increasing due to increase in LH. Does it means if i get LH to normal ( lower ) my T levels will decrease. Besides these points what else does these results indicate - Hpta restarting? Primary or secondary hypogonadism? is there chance of full recovery?. I know too many questions.
I have an appointment with Endo tomorrow and will be asking same questions to him. If you guys find any other points kindly mention them so that i can ask my Endo too.
Thank you guys once again. Will be posting after meeting with Endo.

~~~UPDATE 4~~~
Date - 10/05/2016
I had discussion with my Endo. He is very happy with the reports and feels like my body can start producing testosterone naturally. he also stated that he doesnt wants me to get addicted to clomid and instead of short term increment he wants my body to recover for long term. Therefore he has stopped clomid and has asked to start Vitamin E and Co-enzyme Q-10 daily, and Vitamin D3 60000 iu once in 15 days ( please can someone tell me if it is sufficient or not ). He also told me not to worry about estrogen as 1 week of clomid wont elevate estrogen. He has called me after 3 months with FSH and TT reports.
I am feeling much better now with improvement in moods and also increase in libido with strong erection. I have been sleeping great lately which unfortunately makes it difficult for me to get up for gym. HaHa!
I hope these improvements are not temporary.
***NOTE - Guys i am using this post as a journal and hope you dont mind it. It is the only way I can explain my recovery and keep updated with latest lab results and suggestions from Endo. I hope that this journal can help people with htpa restart. Thank you.
Update?
beginner91's picture
Hello guys, I will be posting an update soon in next two days. I apologize for the delay as I was busy with my work. Cheers!!
jessiec's picture
Have you been running clomid since the second update until now?
beginner91's picture
As you can see in 'Update 3', I had done clomid mono-therapy for 6 days and no clomid after that till date.
I'm in the same boat. My T is 258. I was depressed for weeks and am currently doing a PCT to try and raise my natural T. Hang in there and thanks for the honest post.
Any updates??
I am going through a similar time haha first cycle was also in april 2014 still not recovered from it (I don't think anyways)
@freedom1981
Even though i didn't use deca, tren or NPP, studies show Testosterone can also elevate prolactin although chances are very low.
I will post E2 as soon as i get the report.
I know this why I asked you post the E2 result . Then we can judge .
E2 - 27.4 pg/ml 0 - 56
freedom1981's picture
Let me tell you something all the study telling you the prolactin connected with E2 is rubbish . And I can prove this for you . Just let me search where is the blood work I did few weeks ago and will prove for you and the others . My prolactin was 10 from 15 max and my E2 was 115 when supposed to be max 44 I think . I'll take w shot and post it to prove they are not connected at all . But there are many things connected to the E2 .if your cholesterol high your E2 high too . So now your prolactin is not that high . I think 800ui of vitamin E and bottle of 8 tabs of dostnix enough . These will put your prolactin in range . If the prolactin back in range the test will get higher natural because they connected the prolactin and the test producing .
Update 2. Result Reference Range
FSH. 2.86mIU/ml 1.5-12.4
LH. 4.15.mIU/ml 1.7-8.6
Prolactine. 17.69 ng/ml 4- 15.2
Guys anything from this result???
freedom1981's picture
after the result you posted now about prolactin there is something missing . You wrote that you didn't use any deca or tren or NPP even . So make it clear for us and post your E2 asap. But now order some caber and vitamin E as a first step . I'm curious now about your E2.
The Scally protocol is very old.
Run the HCG at 2,000 iu EOD for 10 shots, and see where your test levels are at. If they are at the high end of the range, this means your balls work and you're good to go.
Run Clomid at 25mg per day for 6 months. 30 days after cessation, see where you stand. Do the same thing 90 days out.
If your levels are still low 3 months after ending clomid, you're looking at TRT or clomid (or hopefully Androxal) for life.
Your free test is within range, which is unusual. Report back with all requested metrics.
Update 1
Just got my free testosterone results.
FT is 6.5 pg/ml (Reference range - 4.25-30.37)
Apart from the fact this is low does it mean anything else?
**Note- There seem to be some problem updating from cell phone. I will update again later from PC.
Whats happened already happened . Be ready for trt , but the nice thing in your age if you listened good to your doc and I hope he is a good one . In one year you will get out of trt and your body will back naturally producing the test , this why no one recommend cycles for young younger than 25 and in my opinion must be minimum 28 years old and few years already in gym before start using steroids , good luck
I agree with you. I am going to approach a doctor but its really hard to find doctor who has addressed these issues earlier. At present I want to avoid trt as I am planning to have family within few years and am scared of it affecting my sperm rate/fertility. That is why i want to give one last shot to hpta restart programme and monitor how my body responds.
Also apart from age factor i would like to point out that no matter how much you read regarding aas and other safe practice you are never really 100% safe.
beginner91's picture
Thank you Dacky and Catalyst for your quick reply. I will test my LH, FSH, E2 and prolactine asap and will post it soon. I am scheduled to meet doc by end of this week.
Catalyst's picture
Good luck, hope it all works out for you.
As Cat states. Go and see an endo and get properly checked out. As you say LH and FSH numbers as well as estro, prolactin and full thyroid function test are needed. Get this done before running any power PCT protocol. One thing to note is to have your testosterone numbers retested which the endo will do. Mate of mine had his numbers checked last week and on one morning he was low 200's. He retested the next morning and he was as expected in the low 500's. No explanation as to why this happens but it does.
beginner91's picture
Thanks Dacky, you are really getting my hopes high. I wish it happens in my case too. I will check my testosterone levels next week again. I have posted my LH, FSH and Prolactin reports. Prolactin is high; this maybe the reason for test suppression. Please go through report and tell me if you find something. E2 results on the way.
Thank you again.
Dacky's picture
Need to know the E2 number. Your prolactin is a bit o. The high side but I am not certain this alone will be causing your issue. I certainly wouldn't be junping on caber or another DA without a doc/endo supervising. Your LH numbers are fine so this is not the issue. FSH won't affect testosterone levels and nevertheless they're fine too. Come back with the E2 numbers and let's we if these tell us anything.
At theme of the day given your history and the young age at which you ran your cycle I think your are best to find a really good endo and discuss treatment options with him. It's possible you've gone and shut down the T part of your HPTA. I'm not sure the LH/FSH numbers hold our much hope that a reboot PCT would work but it may be worth a shot. Bet bet is to seek professional help in my honest opinion.
beginner91's picture
E2 - 27.4 pg/ml 0 - 56 ( reference range )
Dacky, i am gonna consult endo as i dont plan on treating myself for low T. Thank you for your kind words. I will keep you updated about the status.
Okay even if i dont get my test levels upto pre cycle level, i really am worried about infertilty. TRT can manage my low T but what about fertlity as i am planning to have family by next 4 years??
Dacky's picture
Well you will need to discuss that with your endo. Going on trt is a big deal and even bigger for someone so young. I would think your endo would try and avoid that if possible. With your FSH levels I would hope your sprem count is ok so you should be fertile. Only way to tell is to get this checked. I think your endo should look for all options to treat your low t and avoid trt for as long as possible if not completely to allow you to have the family your want. Clomid mono therapy could be an option. Good luck fella.
EDIT: I see no issue with your E2 levels.
beginner91's picture
I know trt is big deal. I am talking about worst case scenario and that i can afford to have TRT but not infertilty. Maybe if i manage to lower prolactin, do you think test levels can go up naturally. I dont want to panic now and start any kind of pct. As you said i will cosult my Endo first and explore the option of possibly restarting it.
Been to see a doc / endo? Probably the best path for you to follow now.
