crushing Aromasin tabs

I started my AI's today and found it almost impossible to cut a 25mg tab of aromasin in to 4 little pieces. I was planning on dosing at 6.5 mg EOD.
I decided to crush my tab under a piece of paper and split it into 8 little bumps. These smaller piles should average out to 3mg each. Is this a good way to get small doses of AI? Shouldn't 3 mg a day work better than 6 EOD, due to the short half life of aromasin.
I swear I feel a little more "peppy" just having 3mg of aromasin in me. Today was my first dose of AI, day 15 of cycle.

6.5mg eod is low. half life is 12 hours for men 24 for women. twice a day is ideal. buy a pill cutter.
what are you taking and how much

I've been getting some mentoring from SDM. Oversteerisbest, and Vhman. The general consensus was to start with a low dose and adjust up or down as needed.
I had planned on following that advice, and doing 6.5MG EOD. I did read about halflifes, that is why I switched to 3mg EOD. The Aromasin I have is Pharma grade tablets, they tend to shatter when cut.
Today is the last day of week 3, and I think I'm gonna up the dose a little bit. My nips had that "it's cold out " look about them and were a little sensitive.
Gonna bump it up to 5 mg a day, and will try a pill cutter if I get to 6.5 mg a day.
