Arimidex (anastrozole) Fatigue
ad
I am currently on 1g of sust and 400mg deca per week. This is my first time using Anastrozole during my cycle. I was using clomid to prevent negative estrogen side effects, but I switched over to Anastozole mid-cycle. I noticed since I started taking the Anastrozole (.5mg EOD) I am extremely fatigued. It seems that fatigue is a normal side effect of the AI, but usually in higher doses. Additionally my joints are hurting me much more then pre-anastrozole. Does anyone care to explain? should I lower my dose, should I switch to nolva or back to clomid? if so at what dose?

clomid and nolva are serms- used for post cycle therapy.
are you using anything to combat prolactin?
what week are you in on the cycle?
how many weeks on adex?
whats your stats and history?
adex prevents aromatization, the excess estrogen is expelled by your liver, doubt you have crashed estro at that dose of adex with that dose of test, im leaning towards prolactin sides or thyroid.
So what should I get checked for my blood work. I got a test, free test, LH, FSH, and estrogen done Tuesday.
if it is the prolactin or thyroid issues, what do I do to fix them?
bloods.
caber.
hpta is shut down.
get bloods and evaluate, you should be getting ready for pct with these issues.
HPTA is definitely shut down I can feel that. After I dropped the dose of Adex I do feel better though. I want to run another 4-6 weeks. I got my Labs done last Tuesday. I do not have any caber, It would take a long time to order, will see if my doc will prescribe.
Basically sounds like you crashed your estro. You really need to get some blood work done to find out what's up. If not you're gonna have one hell of a time. Can't stress it enough man, go get your blood drawn.
I just did on Tuesday.
Sounds like you crashed your E. You are prob just really sensitive to Arimidex. Like it was said below only way to be sure is blood work but till you get the results from that I'd drop the Adex to .5 e3d
Just went the other day for blood work. If that is the case how do I return my E levels?
Back off on the AI till you find a comfortable dose where you're controlling your E but not crashing it either. If blood work confirms it then I'd back my Adex dose to .5 every 3 days
I am backing off to every 3 days anyways. It only started when I started the Adex. Should I be taking some kind of prolactin support too? It increases your libido and mental health anyways...
PallMallThose are some of the side effects of low estrogen...have you noticed anything else? If you can get bloodwork done you'd know for sure.
Agreed, you can get anonymous hormone panels done to see where your levels are. Crashed E can be a pain, but watching carefully for symptoms will help you adjust your protocol once you get a baseline by looking at labs.
No that's it so far but I have only been on the Adex for a week. should I stop?
