Do anything you can before getting on Acutane. I have done it and I regret it 100%. It makes you feel like complete shit and your joints are dry and sore as shit while on it. Please look at the possible sides and ask your self is it really worth it.
I would be careful it can cause intestinal damage. Take a probiotic with to replenish the good bacteria. Accutane kills all intestinal flora. So you need to replenish the good bacteria.
My girl's been on accutane for 3 months now 60mg a day dr. Prescribed. And her skin has cleared up great. But her skin is very dry, lips chappy, she's also been getting bloody noses. On her monthly check up her cholesterol has gone up.
While researching before I started accutane, I found that most doc's prescribe 40-80mg/day for 5-10 months. But I found through research that 10-20mg/eod is usually sufficient for steroid users, and this keeps the side effects (and accutane has some nasty ones) to a minimum.
I've been taking accutane at 20mg/eod for the last 4 weeks. I just finished 10 weeks of tren. Most acne has been on my shoulders and back, and a lot of it is cystic. My skin now is no longer oily, and the acne is starting to fade. Side effects so far have been dry lips and sinuses. I may run it this way for the next couple of weeks, and then go with 20mg/e3d.
