-1 Question on bloods

ad

Hi all,
So I went on TRT 5 wks ago and last week on my 4th shot I got my bloodwork done. Before I started TRT my test levels were at 412, and estradiol was 19. This most recent bloodwork shows my test in the 700's(to be expected) but my estradiol was at 192!
The doc was baffled by this. He was also puzzled that I haven't got any symptoms from that high of levels, such as nipple sensitivity, mood, erections, etc. I've been more or less fine with side effects. He just chalked it up to bad testing or a lab error.
What I didn't tell him is I've been on HGH for the last couple weeks, 2iu per day. 1iu A.M. and 1iu P.M.
My question is, how can my estrogen levels be so high and did the HGH cause it? I've been sleeping like shit and my mood is a little down in the dumps but I chalked that up to things at work and not seeing my daughter for a while since she went on vacation with her mom.

What do you guys think?
I've got some Test E, primo, anavar, and arimidex. I was waiting to get my bloods done this last time before starting on cycle because I wanted to see what my levels were at with just a trt dose. After blood was taken last Monday(where i got 150mg test and HCG at clinic per usual) I pinned 100mg primo, then on Thurs 150mg test e, and Friday 100mg primo.
I was just about to ramp up with my test and primo and add the anavar at the end of the cycle but now I'm worried about how high that estradiol was.
Should I start taking the arimidex I have? If so, how much and how frequent?

Thanks in advance, any help would be much appreciated

Ask the doc what the assay kit and manufacturer are, and find out if it’s one of these biotin-streptavidin reaction based procedures so commonplace in labs these days. Were your other labs off at all? I’m virtually certain most lab testing nowadays for most endocrine and immunological assays are highly likely to yield results with false numbers - some falsely elevated and others falsely low, depending on if you have biotin in your supplements in any higher than RDA amount. Conjugated biotin in a B-complex supplement is death to your bloods. Biotin is in everything - energy drinks, multivitamins, supplements - it is an epidemic within lab testing. I’m thinking both your test and your e2 are falsely elevated. It would be helpful to look at the lab report from pre-TRT and the one at 4 weeks in. Like others have said, you could be seeing some of this from the biologics you’re taking. Stop the AI until you speak with a real endocrinologist, ideally, but at least tell your doctor. It’s possible you didn’t have elevated biotin from dietary sources or supplements in the days and weeks leading up to the lab draws, but it’s my guess that it is lab error and more likely biotin interference, depending on the analyte and platform used for testing almost everything you’d get in an endocrine and immunological lab panel will be bumped up or down, some drastically and others within believable levels that are still false. Test consistently without any potential interference possible, but if so test under the same conditions. Quite frankly, you may need to get an MRI of your anterior pituitary if these whacky results continue to mirror the last. Listen to others here as some good thoughts and most helpful is the theme of patience. Stop the impulsiveness with taking more compounds to control this. Chill for a week or two and get labs again, this time ask if you can do at least a minimal endo workup for total test and e2 perhaps two times over a few days. The more data the better informed you can be with your decisions here on out. And your doc is wrong - you need IGF-1 and a particular ratio of estrogen to progesterone to actually grow tits.

Awesome information, thank you!

That's the thing I'm trying to figure out, why the hell it shot up so high. The doc was puzzled too. The only thing I was taking outside of what was given to me at the trt clinic was the 2iu of hgh.

I just popped .25mg arimidex. Do you think that's a good idea to take .25mg every three days or something until I get bloods done again?

It was the same trt clinic that drew my bloods both times (original bloods and latest bloods), and both were sent to the same lab, labcorp.

Don't be taking stuff without talking to your doc. You are just going to screw things up even more trying to wing it wiithout really knowing what you are doing.

Thank you for the legitimate answer. The doc thought I should have tits and crying at commercials with that high of e2 lol but I really haven't felt anything for sides.
I'll get more bloods done to confirm if that was correct or if it was a mistake.

If I take .25mg arimidex every 3rd day until then do you think that would be ok? If it truly is that high I don't want to keep running it that high. But if the e2 levels were incorrect and my e2 is more in the range you'd expect, would .25mg e3d hurt anything? That's not enough to crash estrogen is it?

This was my first bloods since I started trt. They put me on 150mg test and some hcg for 4 weeks, took my bloods again and this time e2 was 192.

He didn't start me on an AI because at a low dose of test he didn't know that my e2 would explode up that high

What's the difference in a doc in the box and "real" trt? 412 was my starting test levels before taking anything. Now after 4 weeks it's in the 700's. Seems to me like that's a normal increase in test levels when starting trt. So I'm a bit confused in what you're saying.
You didn't really answer any of the questions I had, or you just didn't really read my post.
Either way, I would really appreciate some advice, not more confusion

EDIT: RustyHooker, what are you talking about dude? I don't think it's hard to understand that last Monday I went in to the trt clinic, they gave me the same dose as always of 150mg test and some hcg. They also took my blood during that visit. My blood results are 700's test and 192 e2, up from 412 test and 19 e2.
I don't understand where I'm losing you.

"this SINT making sense?" You sir, don't make any sense whatsoever and your grammar requires extensive deciphering to try and get a remote idea of WTF you're trying to say

I come here to try and get some help and you just want to argue for some reason instead of help a brother out. Why? I don't get that

StorminNorm22's picture

This AINT making sense.
You been here before bro....
- No bro, I haven't. That's why I'm here trying to get help

Hgh will bump e2
HCG as you state will bump e2.
So which is it? Or both?
- That was my question -- Would HGH make e2 jump that high? Would 2iu really make it go that crazy? Would the HCG make it go that crazy? I don't know, that's why I posted the question.

Most folks dont run a cycle for st least 6mo so they get bloods on point. Hense 192 estro issues
- I haven't run a cycle yet. Again, read the post. Those elevated bloods are on low dose test and low dose HGH, not what I would consider a cycle. The whole point of the post is to try and get my bloods on point, but again you aren't helping with that so why do you feel the need to mindlessly chirp? I thought this community was to help and support, not be a dck to the new guy trying to figure shit out and get advice.

So you got answered. Whats your ai?
- No, I didn't get anything answered yet. So far you've been no help so, again, why do you reply if you're not going to help? Please move along if you don't want to help a brother out, I'd rather zero answers and figure it out myself than deal with this nonsense you've created.
-I said in my first post that I have Arimidex on hand. I haven't got an answer yet so I just popped .25mg and I guess I'll do that every couple days and see how shit goes

StorminNorm22's picture

What on earth are you talking about?

I was planning on going from the doses I was getting at the trt clinic to an actual cycle with higher test, primo, and anavar. But now that i got these bloods back with stupid high e2 I'm worried about bumping up the test and adding all that other shit. At least until i get this figured out. Hence, why i made the post in the first place. To try and get advice.

How is that trolling?

Obviously you're not the guy to help me out so please stop responding unless you have some advice on how to help.

Or if anyone can point me in the right direction of a legit forum or group that actually likes to support and help each other out, that would be much appreciated.

StorminNorm22's picture

Thanks Tricepatops, I really appreciate your honest feedback and suggestions. That's what I was looking for. Thank you!

StorminNorm22's picture

You copied and pasted what I said, yes, but what does that have to do with trolling? I just tried to lay out my story and plans for the future and for some reason you don't like it.

Don't try to discredit me because your comprehension skills are lacking. Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean it's sketch.

I'm just trying to get help and you've hijacked it with nonsense. Wtf man. Who's the troll here? Good lord.
You are what's wrong with trying to have a community of people to help each other out on a forum. Run along now, you're not helping anyone.
