Post comp mini "recovery" cycle
Hey guys. Im currently 4 weeks out and im thinking to add a 4 week prop cycle after my comp to ease into my pct smoother and also help me recover from the brutal diet, depletion and training.
Proposed cycle : test prop on 50mg ed for 2 weeks, shift it to 25ed for the remaining 2 and then start PCT as soon as prop is released fully.
After the 4 weeks with prop, before pct, i will bridge 2 weeks with HCG and im thinking to also try torem instead of clomid after. Keeping aromasin at hand for the bridging period after prop, im not prone to estrogen sides so i might not need more than 25mg weekly.
Anyone tried it before? You think its a valid argument or im just stressing my ststem more? During the 4 week prop cycle my calories will increase every week until i hit true maintenance(im saying true maintenance because post comp this could vary alot)

The only reason I would keep staying on cycle after the comp is if my plan was to go straight to bulk stage. When your body is so depleted, it will suck in all the nutrients you put in your body and it’s a great time to put on some quality muscles
The only reason to do this is to counter the Estro crash you will prolly feel! Otherwise just do PCT!
That does not make logical sense. Doing a cycle is not PCT nor is it going to make "pct smoother".
What's the point, easing into pct isn't a valid argument. You plan on doing a pct so just get it done as soon as it's possible. I'm guessing that you will drop test and anything else before you compete and they would of been short ester so you can do it straight after and get down to eating and a normal life again
I'm assuming this is your first comp?
My first "enhanced" comp yes, i competed natty 5 times all with great results. To put more context, i was natty for 5 years, then hopped to gear but didnt compete enhanced. I have 5 cycles under my belt,6 including the comp one
You should know about post show rebound then. You will gain more lean mass in that 4-6 wks post show than you will in an entire year of training if you do it right. You better eat like a horse and train like a beast for those first couple of months otherwise you are wasting a golden opportunity. Now is not the time to take a brake from training or ease back into your diet.
Your estro should be crushed due to show so I like to hit a 6 weeker of prop with tne first wk to help boost estro and get me feeling normal again. Only time I ever use TNE. This ties in nicely with the massive training and eating you should be doing.
The danger here is that you are extending your cycle out even further which can have severe consequences on your HPTA and overall health. So you have to weigh that into your decision.
That was on the back of my mind as well and one of the factors to make this decision. Post show ur like a sponge and i noticed that my best gains were made post show, even as a natty.
