I am 45 years old. I was well built and strong a few years ago due to the labor I did. The last two years have been slow, and I have lost the muscle I had. What I now have is more fat then lean muscle. I stared working out a month ago, but have seen no real gains. I look a tiny bit bigger, but strength is not up much at all. I get plenty of protein, and am on a good diet. I take vitiments and get plenty of sleep. I work out 2-3 times a week, 5-9 reps 3 times. I give my self two days before hitting the same group again.

I would like to bulk up again. I do not care about a cut look; I want my strength back. I do want to put any thing in my skin though. What do you recommend? I am not looking to be professional grade, just have good strength and endurance.

Will Anavar work? I know its slow, but offers less problems. D-bol? I do not want my goodies to shrink, but if it can be taken in small dose... I have Anavar and Clomid on order. I hope Clomid alone my raise my T, but do not know if that will do much.

Thanks guys I need your experience.

A month is nothing, you need to take supplements like at least 1&1/2 times your body weight in protein Eat 4-5 good meals a day. Your workout needs to be more intense and rest the muscle for at least 5 days. Here is a sample workout - Chest/Tris Monday,Legs Tuesday,Wed off,Shoulders/Traps Thursday,Back/Bis Friday. Large Muscles 16-20 sets 6-8 reps Smaller muscles 10-12 sets 6-8 reps. The biggest mistake people make is going to the gym for 3 months and say I am not growing I need steroids. Your body takes months and years to develop I didn't do my first shot until after 10 years of training. Even small amounts can do damage,my advice is give your body the chance to grow naturally first and if it doesn't work then go to chemicals. If you do decide to go that route or have any questions about training feel free to PM me

"I do want to put any thing in my skin though" - so your not wanting to inject anything correct? imo testosterone would be the best thing for you at your age, but if your not wanting to inject anything then thats out of the question. if your trying to bulk up then i would choose a oral steroid that will help to do that, but your diet will play the main role in bulking you up. imo dbol would be a good choice for you or maybe even tbol, its your choice. but dont forget to do PCT, that will help you keep the gains you make. but dbol will add alot of water weight which will fall of after your cycle as ended, you can take an AI while on cycle to reduce the amount of water weight and the AI will also help to eliminate estrogen related sides. the clomid will not really raise your Test levels to an amount that will cause you to see results, its for pct. as far as your nuts shrinking, you can take hcg to bring them back to size. i could care less if my nuts are grapes or golfballs, but thats just me lol. when you say goodies, i hope you dont think that your dick shrinks, cause it doesnt at all.

I will keep up with the lifting; the only real improvement I have seen is in leg strength. I still bench the same puny amount. Sure I know a month is nothing, but I had hoped to add another 5-10 lbs to the bench press. I may look a tiny bit bigger (not sure though) but that may just be the createne. I have had no joint pain or big muscle pain. I lift until I can not complete the last rep, rest 2-3 min then do another set for a total of 3. After I have a protein drink. I also take zinc and ginseng. I just want to safely speed things up.

Hey brother, I know you don't want to hear this, but you've got to give yourself longer than a month of working out before you'll see any results - even on roids a month is a pretty short time. Obviously, this is just my opinion, and I definitely don't mean any disrespect. You may want to give yourself a little more time before jumping into this. I waited almost 2 years, and I still feel like I may have rushed it a little. Just wanted to give you a heads up that the necessities of this game are discipline and patience.
