Need advice for friend

ad

Hey everyone, I wanted some second opinions for a guy I know at the gym. Last night he was complaining about always being very fatigued throughout the day and how difficult it is to make it to the gym. He is 51 yrs old, so I asked if he has ever gotten his hormone levels checked out by a doc. He then explained that he has been taking 300 mg of test prop each week and 400 mg of ten ace per week for over a year. His body fat is pretty high. Id say somewhere around 25% to 30%. He has never gotten bloodwork during that time. He then told me that he wants to come off the drugs and do a PCT but I wonder if it would even be worth trying. Being on tren for over a year and being 51 yrs old. I just don't see him being able to come back from that. He also only has a week of test prop left so I am concerned about his well being when he runs out without having any PCT meds.

So I told him to stop the tren and purchase test E or C and get bloodwork. I have extra HCG, Clomid, and Nolva that I could also give him. Is PCT even worth a try in his situation or is TRT unavoidable at this point. He doesn't want to include his doc or insurance so it would most likely be self medicated TRT. Does anyone else have some advice for this guy? Thanks

I never liked these "My friend" post... I read through this and it made me cling. Tren with no test, not to mention at his age... I would expect that his testosterone levels are permanently surpressed, and TRT is going to be his only option. I wouldn't assume running a cycle of pct with hcg could cause any harm. I strongly suggest getting the blood work done pre and post so you have an idea where you stand...

Most likely he broke himself, but trying a good PCT first is always the best option, like BigBen said. At his age, he is most likely now broken and will end up on TRT for life. You never know, he may get lucky.

Tell him to make his own account and read the stickies, ask questions, etc. He will get all the help we can offer.

No friend advice , have him make his own account, its his body and his life. If he wants to learn and wants to be more knowledgeable on the subjects pertaining to this lifestyle and everything involved with it he should research these things and ask his own questions.

A restart is ALWAYS your 1st option, no matter the severity of the cycle and the age of the user.

TRT is the treatment you arrive at once every other option is exhausted. Although I fear at 51, this may be inevitable.

Great example of bad Tren management.

This would also be a good post for the newbs who think that tren us the magic drug that will turn you into Arnold Schwarzenegger regardless of your diet, training etc. The fact that this guy has been on for a year and still has a bf % of 25-30% just goes to show how much more important diet, training and lifestyle are compared to the substances you use

Yeah he only focused on the benefits that tren can offer. He doesn't really know what it is. He hasn't been taking an AI or anything for prolactin control. Ive convinced him to get a physical and bloodwork so thats a start. Thanks for the reply

That's definitely a good start. Good job for looking out. I'm surprised that someone good age would be that naive, I would expect this from a 19 year old but not someone in their 50's

Fuck your friend! , nah, I am just kidding but seriously, have him make his own account.

rt061309's picture

Yeah he's made some bad decisions for sure. I'll make sure he gets an account and starts to educate himself.

I hate these "advice for a friend" posts. You seem genuine, but if the guy want's help, he can take responsibility for his own actions. He can and should of gone to a doctor and he can certainly make his own account here. You certainly can't make people do anything, so feel free to encourage him to man up and go to a doctor and get off the juice. Good luck.

Yeah I know these posts get old. I just know that there are a lot of guys on here who know much more than I do.

51 years old and not wanting to include his doc? Honestly, he needs to suck it up and let his doc know whats going on. Stop pinning. See doc. Likely begin trt treatment. Just because trt supplies are readily available, doesnt mean we should self regulate it...especially at 51. No shame in talking to physician.

Dont sell him anything. Be safe. Provide resources and instruct him to follow up with his MD.

That is a very good point. Selling anyone anything is always risky, but you are asking for trouble even giving something (let alone selling it!) to someone this high risk. If things were to go south you could find yourself liable in some way or another for providing less than legal substances

He needs to ration that last little bit of test prop too so he can stretch it until he gets some test e or c AND gives it time to kick in. Maybe 25 mg of test prop ED to stretch it for two weeks or so without having 0 test which is sure to be the case after a year on tren!!!

yeah tren ace for a year is not good for anyone- thyroid is the problem! tell him to get off everything except his trt dose of test e and go to the doctor for a check up, im betting his thyroid is fucked!
