How long can you store gear?

If I ordered everything I needed including PCT how long could I keep it without using it? I don't plan on running a cycle til early June probably but I want to know if I could get the gear now and hold it or if I should just buy it later.

if stored in a cool dark place probly about 4-5 years
By cool do we simply mean room temperature or some type of conditioned room?
