Before you ask about something to use . You should say the cycles you had done . If this first time will be for you to use any kinds of AAS tabs or injection too . They guys give you a diet plan without AAS and I guess this is the best for you for your running and another sport you do . But to ask about AAS need more informations to get an advice . But anyway with AAS or without diet is the key .
first things first brother. AAS wont do do anything for you unless you know how to eat. if you dont know how to cut natty, then AAS isnt going to be the missing link for you.
at 6'2" 225lbs whats your BF% ...either your closer to being cut then you think or you dont have enough lbm to really jusify using AAS for assistance, imo. if you havent trained in a while i would recommend gatting back into the groove and get training and diet DOWN and ON POINT before even considering adding AAS to your regiment.
to answer your question on how to go about cutting, heres my recommedation: easiest and best way i have found to drop BF without loosing muscle is carb cycling. doing a keto diet, ckd or similar types are usually too extreme for most people to stick to and are at higher risk for lbm loss, ime. i recommed carb cycling. its easy to follow, and most dont get burned out.
heres my recommended program:
low days: .5-1g of carbs per lb of bodyweight (i usually aim for .75g/lb on these days personally)
medium/high day: 1g-2g (i do 1.5g)
high/blast day: 2-3g per lb of bw (again i do 2.5g)
i do sun, monday, tues, thursday, friday low carb
wednesday is your medium/high
saturday is high/blast day so you can have more fun with carbs over the weekend.
so it goes: low,low,low,medium,low,low,high
assign the program with your high day however youd like, i usually schedule a taxing workout like legs or back the day after my high day (sundays for me)
tips for getting the most out of your program:
keep carbs to low GI, this will keep insulin low (fat storing hormone) my go to is oats! one of the lowest gi carbs you can consume. only time id recommend spiking insulin is postworkout (fruit or dextrose)
other options whole wheat cereal, pasta, brown rice, sweet potatoes. but these come with higher sugar amounts so oats are always best, imo.
protein: i consume 1.5-2g/lb of bw/day. im active and work early so i get this amount in easy. but get in at very least 1.2-1.5g/lb if you can.
best protein option: EGG WHITES! i get cartons from costco and each carton is 50g of protein. perfect meal. just drink them, best absorption and highest quality protein you can consume. other best options: fish (tilapia, tuna, any white fish really) chicken breasts, keep red meat to a minimum, steak is fine here and there, but id consume it on low carb days because of the higher fat content.
fats: you dont need to really go out of your way to get in fat. i just take 2caps of fishoil with every meal. second best fat option imo is coconut oil, great for fat burning. or ill eat a few almonds if i need more fat.
calculating daily calorie intake: most active people roughly burn about 18cals/lb of BW per day. so your maintenance cals are around 4000. drop that by 500cals per day (3500 total daily kcals) and that should net you 1lb of BF per week. (500calsx7days=3500cals which is equal to 1lb of bf)
adjust calories every couple weeks to fit new BW.
so your daily macros would look something like this:
low days 450g protein 225g carbs 85g fat
medium day ~400g protein ~350g carbs ~50g fat
high day ~300g protein ~500g carbs ~30g fat
these numbers arent set in stone just estimates. using the food sources i listed, its fairly easy to fit these numbers without much guesswork.
there you go bro, just laid it out as simple and straightforward as you can get. do this for a good six months while getting back into training hard and you can get cut without using AAS. then when youre ready and have a god grasp about how diet and training works. ... then come back and well help you design a nice cycle that you can bulk with to put on more lbm.
Info like this is what brings us to Eroids
Credit where it's due fella...
Thank you dude I will get this down
Your welcome. Trust me man, learning to manipulate diet will yield you greater changes in your physiques appearance than any AAS will.
i was gonna hit the big post with 3 but ill do it here
working like a Trojan lately bro................ proud of you.
Thanks vike, appreciate it brother
Awesome post mate with great practical info on how to set-up a carb cycling cut diet + 1. I could not have said it better myself. This is almost exactly what I used to cut from 20% down to 12% last year.
Some other fella's were asking questions about this a few weeks ago. This would definitely help them. I will see if I can find the post and pint then to this layout.
Kaps my man, what is going on with you lately?!
Super long answers which actually put all the information needed into 1 post. +1 :-)
Haha been in a helpful mood recently I guess lol
Hell you are! "KAPS ON FIRE"
no seriously, the things you share for the time are top notch!
Appreciate that brother
Hopefully the OP is all ears and applies this.
Don't know my bf but I used to be in great shape and not so much anymore. I used to run about 3 miles a day and do a regular 5-6 day gym routine back and biceps, chest and triceps then legs and abs. I haven't really been training but I know if I have that extra advantage I'll be right back into it. I have a power tower at home do I've been doing some dips, pull ups pushups, chin ups. I really want to do something that'll help and I want an experienced person's advice and maybe a regimen (cycle). My diet hasn't been great over the months but for a week now I've been juicing (fruit and veggies) and eating nothing but eggs chicken salmon steak and nuts.
BF? What is your current diet (cals and macros)? How long have you been training for and what type of training do you do?
Using just anavar without test is a woman's cycle. Let's hear your diet and training in detail.
