Help guys

ad

Hi guys currently running 100mg test prop cycle however accidentally used a syringe that had a tiny bit of test left in it that had sat for about 4 days, changed the needle but just wondering will I see any problems? If so what should I do? Any advice please

You should be fine. It's not as bad as using the same needle, now that would be cause for worry

I don't know about you guys but my syringes come in sterile packaging. I don't open one until I'm ready to use it. Just having open syringes laying around doesn't sound like A good idea to me. Amputation might be the only answer.

Some guy did this same thing when I was younger, needless to say, he died.

He was killed in a terrible car accident last year

No, I've literally just joined this site for some advice

Going to the doctors tomorrow, anything in particular I should ask them to check? Anyway to know early to catch an infection?

Problemoinjectiono's picture

I didn't mean to reuse the syringe, I thought it was a new one and realised afterwards when I had already injected that it wasn't. I always use new and sterile equipment

That was not clear from what you said.
Everything should go into the trash when you're done. Why you had a used syringe hanging out shows you're not being cognizant of safe protocol. You need to change this.
Are your having any infection symptoms? (Redness, swelling, warm to the touch, etc)???

Problemoinjectiono's picture

I have always binned the syringes straight after use with my needle. And it aches a little but I don't know if that's because I trained shoulders? And maybe a little, however there is no redness or warm to touch as of yet

Keep a close eye out for any infection symptoms. If you don't have any by now, you're most likely in the clear.

Thanks for your help, so would it just be swelling, redness, hot by touch to look out for? All I have is its abit achy?

vhman's picture

Yep, that's what to look for. If it get very sore as well, with another symptom as well. Just being a little sore doesn't mean much. Just keep a close eye out for a few days. If you think it's infected, don't hesitate to get to the doctor asap. Right now I think you're fine.

Thanks a lot for all of your help, You've helped put my mind at ease its just like I say a slight ache at the moment fingers crossed it stays that way

Will this definitely cause an infection of some kind? I thought I had already taken a new syringe outve the packet and only realised when I double checked I always use new needles( as I did this time )and syringes

vhman's picture

It's a strong possibility. Again, why in the hell would you risk reusing a syringe, regardless of changing the needle??? It's very poor practice and increases your risk of infection. The fact that you seem to not be comprehending this fact is disturbing.
It's your health, take responsibility for it.

vhman's picture

Why would you ever "re-use" anything that has to do with injecting things into your body? Do you know the consequences of an infection? All to save a few pennies?
Injecting is risky even with all new gear.
Advice: I really hope you change your protocall or we will be hearing about your hospital stay.

I reused the same syringe, so changed the needle loaded it and injected and then realised I used the syringe 4 days ago so whatever test was left in it has also been injected? An it's ai
