Diuretic - Aldactone
Wasn't sure where else to post this.
As some of you know I'm in comp prep atm.
Just wanting to know anyone who has used this diuretics experience. Any tips you may have?
Going to do a trial peak week in 2 weeks time and I will be trialling this out.
Going to start 6-7 days out and going to be running it at 100mg Ed, split into two doses. This seems to be the basic protocol for this chemical from what I have read. However I just wanted to know of any tips or little things that I may not have come across..
I will not be depleting during this, but I will be doing a small carb load for the last three days as I am happy with how I'm looking however I do feel like I can be fuller than what I am. I will not be cutting out sodium as I have read that this is not needed especially when using aldactone. As for water, I'm taking in 6-7 litres a day. Will be halving this 2 days out then halving again 1 day out and cutting off water completely about 5pm the night before. After this it will be sips etc
Thanks in advance

You prolly won't see this reply cuz this post is long ago. Aldactone takes about 7-10 days to dehydrate. It spares potassium unlike Lasix and Thiazides. However, if you consume to much potassium in foods, sauces etc you can get pretty sick.
Also it is an anti-androgen so it will have a slight lessening effect on your overall hardness and physique.
Bang on there fella....
I done aldactone on my very first comp about 14 years ago and it was the worst thing I'd done..
Stopped me from carb loading as my body was unable to shuttle the carbs into glycogen which left me flat and the rebound after was crap...water retention like crazy..Sock lines around my ankles and joints seized up
Yup; it's a bad choice; if ur gonna do it...do it right with a loop one; lol But be really careful!
