Dbol and Alcohol

ad

I plan to do a 4 week dbol kicker to my Test E cycle and was wondering if drinking alcohol friday and saturday nights would have a major impact on my liver? I plan to use milk thistle while taking the dbol but I don't want to have the kicker if drinking that amount of alcohol would intensify the side effects of dbol. Thoughts?

Alcohol consumption stops protein synthesis in the body. You need this to work to grow brotha. Alcohol is going to effect Ur liver values and so will dbol I would not wanna put the 2 together. Maybe u should wait a few years to cycle anyone that has to drink "every" Friday and Saturday night shouldn't be cycling IMO.

alcohol should only be used to sterilize !

It's a bad idea. Now Just two nights of alcohol and dbol are highly unlikely to damage your liver so much that it won't regenerate in time. However this path leads to mixing rec drugs and steroids which is likely to end badly. Think wisely.

Also, they ain't your mates if they'd have problems with you not drinking.

It certainly not the best idea. Not only is there the added strain on the liver
you have to think about hangovers,,losing sleep,,and most people eat horrible
when they are out drinking.

I noticed you have no stats. How old are you? Is this going to be your first cycle? Why not hold off on the cycle until you can commit to it 100% and not drink two nights each week during your cycle? what's the hurry?

I never drink anymore. It hampers my gains.

It's hard to avoid drinking. On cycle I might have a drink here and there. Keep it light I wouldn't drink every weekend on cycle that I wouldn't do. Just special occasions like a buddies birthday where you know you will drink.

It's hard to avoid drinking

It's really not hard, just don't do it, thousands of beverages out there with no booze in them.

I'm 42 now and I know it's a hell of a lot different when your in your 20s. We can spew this almighty stuff about if you're going to cycle absolutely no drinking or you're not ready if you can't commit. Fact is the majority of the kids (early 20s) live in a different social world than we do. Some of these circles you are a parria if you are going to the places of hangout and mr holierthanthow not drinking. My point is the older you get the further you are from social peer pressure. Ill give Optimus a piece of advice and you can take it or leave because we all know opinions are like buttholes. We all have 1! If you're going to drink drop the dbol that's just stupid right there to mix the 2. Know that you are sacrificing gains to drink. Don't drink to get effed up. Drink for social purposes so you can hang with the boys and not get ridiculed. Make sure you are taking liv52 for liver support. Drink a lot of water before and after your night of drinking. Best if you take in as much water as you can when you get home that night. That's all I got bro. Remember it's not worth looking good on the outside if you're all messed up on the inside!

Good points, although Im still in my twenties, 28, I get what you are saying. Im not saying there is anything wrong with drinking, to each their own, who am I to judge whilst injecting oils into my ass lol, but it seems a majority of the younger population 18-mid to late twenties cannot have a good time or socialize without booze/rec drugs. Perhaps thats just the case in my neck of the woods?

Agree with PEZ, add liv 52 if you are going to drink no matter what... actually with or without alcohol LIV 52 is a good idea. The guys seem to have the right idea about moderation. I would add to that sometimes dbol can make a person a little edgy and booze can make a person push a dead issue or act irrationally.

So besides the negative health effects-

dbol + booze = assault charge

clewsad's picture

I would say a couple beers here and again would be fine but I wouldn't push it. I think drinking hard liquirs are way worse for you liver than methylated steroids but I still wouldn't push it

I agree, but we have to be realistic here. We know he is going to drink.

How much alcohol are you intending on consuming two days a week? I get ridiculously aggressive if I drink while taking dbol. Dbl and booze aren't a good idea.

jay_cutlery's picture

I was thinking around 5-10 beers or equivalent.

Milk Thistle and Live 52: You take this everyday and you don't miss a day or daily dose. Your ten beers is excessive. I say you stay under six. Two days a week of drinking I don't advise.

I feel like a parent preaching. If you really want to know what your body can handle, get your lipids checked now and check them during those four weeks. If you go that route, you just cost yourself $275 in testing to drink a little.

I give mad respect to bros that don't drink on cycle. It shows discipline and the bitches love it - lol.

I did get my lipid panel done, I have normal HDL with low LDL.

This is a case where all you're going to get is a bunch of preachers, and roughly half of them listen to their preachings. It's okay to drink SOME nights, but not every single week while on a double alpha methylated compounds I.e. 17aa - Dbol....

It'll hurt your liver, but it all depends on previous history, pre-cycle liver health, as well as the amount of alcohol... A beer won't kill you, 5 won't either, 25, maybe, 50... I hope to god you cannot drink that many!

Edit: Oh! I've never drank alcohol in my life! I've been dead set on lifting as a hobby since 16 years old! I know how detrimental it is to my physique, thus I refuse to ever have a good time with a shot or two, or a beer or two! I would never go out with friends for a drink, EVER! They're a bunch of losers for drinking and wasting muscle... For what?! Just some real fun with some real friends??? How dumb is that!!! I'd rather go and workout with them all day. <~~ Sarcasm intended.

I was going to limit it strictly to Friday and Saturday night's only.

MajorNanners's picture

"serious" enough about lifting to use gear
not serious enough about diet to forego drinking....

makes sense.

EDIT: Let alone the health consequenses.

Makwa's picture

Take your cycle seriously and don't drink alcohol.

MedDx's picture

Don't drink any alcohol, while on any cycle, especially methylated orals.
