Beginner to Steroids in General

ad

Basically here is the low down I have been reading posts & older threads regarding beginner steroid use. I am trying to figure out what I could possibly begin with a starters cycle, I'm a bit iffy on the whole injection side of things. I am not trying to get massive or bulk up but get lean cut muscle. Currently I stand at 5'6 & weight ranges from 135-145lbs no quite sure why. BMI is fairly low for my age & stats. I was looking into various products but cannot narrow it down or even get a good clear idea on how to get the ball rolling. Let's just say im a complete noon when it comes to this. Thanks guys.

Hey guys so from the last time I posted I was at a solid 140lbs & have been pretty much eating as much as I could & hitting the gym at least 5 times a week & gone from the original weight to about 155lbs. Was meaning to ask if a short cycle of simply testosterone would be something I could look into for the start?

Makwa's picture

Answer would still be no. Get that next 15-20 lbs on you doing exactly what your are doing now and then you will be all set up for a good cycle.

modusoperandi's picture

Another reason I was asking was to aid in a torn tendon from a contusion as well. I was looking into a cycle of deca to further aid in the healing of the tendon. I have been able to continue to gain weight by continuing to watch my diet but at work I messed up a tendon on my shoulder & my doctor hasn't been of any sort of help.

Makwa's picture

Deca won't help you there. It can help to "lubricate" joints and make them feel somewhat better but this can be detrimental especially if training with an injury because it may make it perceived to feel better but it is not healing anything and now you will be pushing it harder risking further injury. Don't start any cycle with any type of injury or you are most likely going to make it worse no matter what it is since you will be putting more stress on everything and preventing it from healing and just making it worse in the long run.

tzelukie's picture

Boom! Everyone thinks deca heals. It does NOT! It masks injury creating higher risks...

Makwa's picture

Muscles always grow faster than what the tendons/ligaments do. That is why many people actually get injured when running a cycle. They get to strong to fast and they ligaments/tendons don't keep up and boom something snaps and you are out of the gym for 6 months. Need to really be smart and aware of than when cycling/

modusoperandi's picture

Well I would be much more careful when running the cycle & using some other vitamins & minerals in aid of the healing of the tendon. I wouldnt be going full out on my training once it gets into check. I was considering a DECA/Test E cycle. No major dosages just average. What would I need to be able to run both?

Makwa's picture

I wouldnt be going full out on my training once it gets into check.

Once again, what is the point in running a cycle then if you don't give it 100%. Running a cycle isn't going to help with healing anything. lol

Unlight13's picture

Now GH on the other hand, that brought Jesus back from the dead on the third day I believe.

modusoperandi's picture

Not even going full out, of course I would be going full put but watching signs of my own body & keeping myself in check I am aware of my own body signals & when to stop to prevent an injury. The tendon was from a slip I had at a restaurant using dress shoes, tried breaking my fall & gave myself a contusion. Its not a bad contusion but there is a slight discomfort on certain occasions & I want to build up the muscle in the general area. I wouldnt be letting the cycle go to waste if that is what everyone is concerned about.

Makwa's picture

Bro, I am out of here. He is just going to keep fishing for cosigner to run a cycle when he isn't anywhere near ready. I wouldn't beat your head on the wall here to much more either.

modusoperandi's picture

No I'll continue to do my regular training & come back when you guys believe I'm ready. I'll be back.

modusoperandi's picture

I was talking to one of the people that I have a close relationship with that said I could run a short cycle of DECA or HGH to promote healing due to various properties of both. My doctor gave me cortisteroids but its bs...

kash666's picture

Hey bro you could look into beg cycle or you could gain some weight and create a base, which would be much more beneficial. You are a light guy to say the least so I would recommend staying natural until you put on some quality mass/base and then once you do you first cycle it will be a lot more effective in helping assist with your goals. if you do it too early it wont be worth it and your gains will be minimal. Also remember your diet is crucial, try add in another clean meal into your daily intake and see how much that helps. Good luck and I wish the best for you

fbfreak985's picture

As a beginner in my opinion only if your over 25/27 and you've been working out for atlesst 5-6 years.

You're very light at 134-140 but anyways the "beginner cycle in general for anyone would be

Test E 400 1-10
Anavar 50-75) 5-12

You'll feel the test then the anavar will help smooth you out, harden up the gains, strength, vascularity, synergetic with test, and just make the cycle more permanent after you come off.

Or

Tbol instead of anavar if you can't afford it or get quality anavar

fbfreak985's picture

I take back what I said, someone would definitely need more experience before cycling anything. You have much more room naturally than you think.

Dickkhead's picture

What is there a full moon out tonight or something? Bro, you're advising a 135 lb. guy to take steroids? Really? How about a 115 lb. guy? Do you have a limit how low you will go?

I wasn't going to neg ya until I just saw this that you just wrote in another post . . .

Everyone's entitled to run whatever they like, I don't like when people rip people on forums.

We don't "rip people" to embarrass and discourage them. We want our members to be successful. Advising gear use to a guy whose weight clearly indicates a lack of muscle base is not helping. It's setting him up for failure.

Iv never had karma taken away from me. I'm nothing but supportive and interactive on this site and forums. I'm
Sorry that I gave advice to a 135lbs guy, but if you read bsck I said "in my opinion a general beginner cycle" I didn't mean any harm and everything was "in my opinion " which I kept repeating. Anyways I am sorry. I just think it's a bit harsh, maybe a warning first? Idk

fbfreak985's picture

How do I delete a comment, Iv never lost karma until this one post in all my years here on eroids and it just keeps going down daily because of this. How do i fix this???

Dickkhead's picture

Bro, I will be happy to return the 2 pts. I took. It was not my intention to "fuck you up" and somehow give others the impression they should keep going and send you into a karma death spiral. +2

Catalyst's picture

Fella use some common sense. The community is working hard to push in the same direction in terms of trying to steer guys like this away from using gear with no base built. A warning shouldn't be necessary. The op here is on a similar path to this guy below:

BMI is a load of BS bro because I'm obese and about 5kgs away from morbidly obese on that stupid scale. Why? Because I'm shit short not because I'm fat. That scale was concocted by an American doctor in the 60's or around there and it's been poo-pooed many times over. Body composition is not as simple as weight VS height.

My best advice is this, and I did this over the last 3 years - it's going to be tough but very rewarding. Set an ultimate goal then break it down into smaller achievable goals - this will keep you focused. Make strength training a priority, it starts off easy and you build up the strength quickly enough - DUP, 5/3/1 or any other strength based routines. Forget getting ripped and shredded you need to focus on strength because with strength comes muscle and mass. Focus on diet - you're 135lbs because you don't eat enough. Work out the amount of calories you need to achieve your goal, download a calorie counting app and get eating and counting. Sleep, eat, minimise your drinking and smoking / recreational drug taking (actually stop it all together).

You're too young to mess with aas and the fact that your hormone levels should be higher now naturally than ever it's best you take advantage of it. Once you're older, stronger, wiser then think about aas but until then do what you can naturally and learn from the forum.

P.S - welcome to the board

Makwa's picture

Things don't seem as daunting when you can break them up into smaller achievable goals.

mini muscle's picture

Also as a newbie one reads the magazines / articles / see the documentaries / YouTube to see the comps and shows and in ones head one thinks "I want to get big" which is the ultimate goal and one rushes into getting big.

Also without strength there will be no big. Also there's way too much rubbish online - it actually hurts. Most will jump into a routine without knowing strength and get bored then stop.

So yeah, small goals and stick to them because each goal is getting one closer to being big.

PumpDaddy1's picture

Hey bro. Make sure that your at least 25 years old for starters. Then make sure that you have a few years of natural body building experience. You need to increase your size and try to fill out most of your natural size before you should start gear. That will also give you enough time to decide weather its right for you or not. You shouldn't start a cycle just because you got in the mood one day. Don't forget to read a lot too.

tonytulo's picture

I've had about enough of your terrible advice and poor attitude. So enough is enough.

Dickkhead's picture

Thanks to the "high karma regulator" mod team. Inside joke for Tony. LOL Smile Smile

IrishMack's picture

Reading through all the posts you have made you really do not like this place, you give cycle advice to 110 pound 6 foot people, you then talk about shit just like this post, you are just trying to get banned huh? Stop giving advice because it's obvious you are fkn clueless to begin with.

shiva4's picture

terrible advice dude.... just because you've done this doesn't mean you should promote bad decisions. this guy's just starting out..

Makwa's picture

That BS advice isn't going to fly around here...

shiva4's picture

everyone wants to get big and patience can be tough. at your age and size though you'd be doing yourself a huge disservice by running a cycle. if you aren't growing then you need to eat more. I would say cut back your workouts to an hour max, just bist your ass during that time and try to limit cardio. I started out at your size and was able to put on 20 lbs in the first year that I finally nailed my diet down, it was fairly easy and was natural.
food is key and it may sound redundant but without your diet on pointr you won't grow. if you jump on Cycle and you still don't know how much and what to eat you won't be able to support all your gains anyways. basically you'll just lose them all after you come off and youll.be in an even worse position physiologically and potentially psychologically. there are tons of guys here willing to help you with diet. if you want send me a friend request and I can help get you headed in the right direction.
it's understandable why a cycle would look attractive to you but it's an all around bad idea dude.

modusoperandi's picture

I totally understand where you are getting at, I have been trying to get my diet down to a key. Avoiding things I just usually like to snack on & turning to other sources for food. I only do 5 minutes of cardio to warm up but I avoid cardio since my body type & metabolism is sped up quickly where any real gains disappear in a matter of time. Thanks man I have shot you a friend request & I'd really love the help to get down to a good diet plan to start making steps forward.

shiva4's picture

fr accepted. you can shoot me a pm or post your diet and macros in detail here to get advice from not just me but the whole.community.
be as specific as possible about the foods, amounts and frequency of meals. also give as detailed as possible info about your routines as well. also do you have a physically demanding job?

modusoperandi's picture

Thanks, well usually I don't prep meals for an entire week but all of my meals usually consist of fish, chicken breast or turkey along with brown rice. In the mornings I have a protein shake which I throw in a 1/3 cup of oats. When I have the opportunities to prepare breakfast I do along with my protein shake. On a daily basis I eat at most 2 big meals then snacks & fruits, usually snack wise I eat nuts, cut pieces of turkey breast, cheese & Edamame. While at work I am always snacking on something that I have brought with me from home. Yes yes I do have a physically demanding job.

IrishMack's picture

If you want to gain weight do not avoid snack foods, only the ones high in sodium. Gaining weight will always mean gaining fat and you need it. Eat everything in sight and I do condone pizza, pretzels, crackers, and any high carb food to promote gaining weight. Muscle is made up of 70% carbs and 30% protein so try and make your macros fit into that. Once you gain some size you can cut back on the ratios to find your sweet spot and continue growing.

Makwa's picture

Time for the see-food diet. If you see food then eat. As long as it is edible, then eat it.

IrishMack's picture

Amen to that.

shiva4's picture

You mentioned specific values of macros that you consume daily. How did you calculate these? it also sounds like you aren't eating enough and id be surprised if you were hitting the number you listed. Are you limited on time and food prep?

modusoperandi's picture

I didn't list everything fully but I'm always short on time,. Consume a variation from those macros on my days I have enough time to prep I hit those numbers when I have a limited time amount I am hitting far lower. That's when I try to compensate with snacks that with protein packed snacks.

shiva4's picture

Protein essential for building muscle but many people starting out forget about how important carbs are, these are what help keep you in an anabolic state. without proper carb intake your body will just convert your protein over into carbs to meet needs. have you ever tried using one of those apps to track your intake, like my fitness pal?
