I have a base tren compound that I need to hook an acetate ester up to. Is anyone well versed on fischer esterification? I know the chemistry but I don't know what the preferred catalyst is for this reaction and the typical methodology for this. I've esterified plenty of alcohols in the lab but we use reagents that I don't think I would want any where near my body.
