Advice For Lifters Trying To Put On Strength W/ Gear Use
This post does come from some personal experience and from what I have seen around my gym and the people I have competed with.
I have seen so many guys, many being in there young 20's and late teens going crazy with there gear use in powerlifting.
A few examples stem from two specific guys at my gym who compete in powerlifting. These two go NUTS with use and it does not reflect. One runs a whole slew of drugs in high doses and still can't bench 400 or pull 600, despite being 275. He is riddled with sides, but has a super shitty attitude about his use as he does not respect the drugs or his own health. I wish he would change before something bad happens to him and if he wasn't such a prick I would approach him on the topic, but it would be a waste of time. The other guy that bangs a good bit of gear is in the same boat, but at least he let's me give my opinion and he FINALLY started putting his health first after I informed him of my experience and that he doesn't need to go hog wild for great results.
When I was younger and made the decision to use PEDs for competing I was convinced that I would become a monster off of my first cycle and put on strength like the guys I see online. I was wrong in some ways and right in some ways. I started by using 500mg of test cypionate a week and started blowing up right out of the gate. I was benching nearly 400 with commands, squatting 650, and deadlifting 705 within 10 weeks of use. The greedy bastard in me thought that I could keep gaining strength if I upped my dose for an upcoming meet and added in a few compounds. I upped my test to 1g per week, started running dbol from 50mg to 100mg per day, taking tren ace at 75mg per day with no AI or Prolactin blockers. I was a train wreck needless to say and the real sad part is that I was still progressing at the SAME PACE as I was on JUST 500mg of test. My meet went well and I won my meet, but my physique reflected my destructive diet of McDonald's and twizzlers, sitting near 245 I looked like the stay puft marshmallow man! I knew something had to change. I went on a TRT dose of test and took it easy through my cut and lost nearly 55lbs in 12 weeks, much was bloat, but I was loving my progress and the way my body was looking. I began bulking slowly a few weeks ago and I am using far less drugs and making solid progress and looking and feeling great due to a solid healthy diet and cardio everyday. The lesson to be learned and taken from this is that you don't need to go crazy and train wreck yourself like I did and hate your body for no reason. Health is and should be the number one concern for everyone that works out, not putting up the biggest numbers at ANY cost. This is a wonderful sport and I would love to do it until I can't anymore and I would encourage people to do research on everything they are about to embark on so they know what to expect and how to handle whatever the drugs may throw at them.
I will be competing this summer at some point and I intend to blow my last total away at a lower body weight, while looking and feeling healthy both mentally and physically.
I'm sure many of you have seen or experienced this first hand, so sorry if this is old news boys!

wow my friend
sorry , and i mean no disrespect. i dont but your pics and these #s. im sorry they dont add up. .. bud theres a world of knowledge here and alot of places. , ahhh quit lying to youself. ..you have no density , no mass no definition. ..and like i said i mean no disrespect. .. im hoping youll come clean and help yourself. not to mention gyno.. ..
hey ill help anyone send a pm. you want to talk. but bud you need keep it real here
How ironic; a 25 year whose handle is "blast and cruise" while attempting to appear that he's promoting health first.
Do you have any idea what a drag trt for life is? That's where you're headed....
Blast n' CruiseI mean I do have a prescription for it.
I've read this story before hmmm swear I've seen this on some site on net.
25 years old and talking about when you were younger.....lol
Bro, I don't want to make you feel bad but looking at your pics...I don't see a 405 bench. Shit, maybe 400 on a bench press machine with a little help from a buddy. I'm even a little doubtful about that.
Blast n' CruiseI wouldn't lie if that's what your implying. By best three lifts at 250 are 660/405/735. I never cared about my physique tbh I just was strictly strength orientated and trained hard doing a 5x5 on each of the big three 6 days of the week on a legs/back/chest split. No job or anything just training, sleeping and eating for 3 months to get to that. This summer I plan on hitting 450 bench at 220 and a 740 pull in a push pull meet. Judging by how my current training cycle is going I am confident in these numbers.
I'm just not seeing it. Maybe it's a bad pic. tri's look small, pecs look 1/3 muscle, 1/3 gyno, and 1/3 fat.
Are you wearing a vest or what?
I always say its really hard to give conflicting advice. You are 25 and you are blasting and cruising. For no reason at all just because you want to. Im sorry, I am really sceptic of those numbers you put up because your body shows the opposite. 400 bench, I see it but maybe 1 time with a spot. That deadlift is a big one for your frame and you have ZERO traps and I havent seen your legs yet in any pictures. Those are bigger then normal weights for a person of your frame, weight, and age. I know powerlifters, I am one and there are quite a few here as well. And by the way, the lower you weigh, the harder it is to lift heavy, but doing research you should know that. In other words if you are going to tell others whats right and wrong, make sure you practice what you preach. Cool story Bro.
I'm sure there are plenty of 275# guys who can't bench 400#. But a competitive powerlifter weighing 275 who can't bench 400? Not sure you should call him a powerlifter.
I always find it humorous when fat people lift weights. They are always "powerlifters".
@true grit mwahahhaahahha
My first cycle was at 35 test only. Gained 20lbs and kept almost 15 with proper diet and pct. my friend ran a crazy test tren e cycle. Came off no pct and shit diet. Lost all gaines and feels like hell
