Pinning advice
ad
I'm going to start pinning and am planning to use either the delt or quad with a 23g 1". I had previously used a 23g 1 1/2" going into the glutes and could barely sit for a couple of days afer each injection (always aspirated and used top half of muscle) so I'm not sure what the issue was.
2 questions:
Are there any more benefits to using your glute over delts?
Is 23g preferred for delts or would a 25g be just fine?

With some oils i get bad pip in my glutes i prefer quad shots big muscle can take a lot
I guess really the only advantage of glutes is you can inject more oil there and for myself its the most painless. I believe it has something to do with muscle density but not sure. I just never put over 1 ml in my delts and ive gone up to 3 ml in glutes without a problem. I use 25 guage on smaller muscle injections works fine for me but 23 guage is pretty standard
Thanks. I was using sust when I got the PIP and will be using Test-E this time, so I
may try glutes again and if it happens again move to delts.
It could be the short esters in the sust that gave u the strong pip? Try warming up the oil next time. Blow dryer or a hot towel works fine. I gotta ask why delts over quads? Quads are a bigger muscle and just easier to get to. Just wondering:)
I was running it under hot watter, but maybe that wasn't enough heat. No reason for hitting delts over quads other than I had a buddy just finish a cycle using delts without any issus. I know it is the gear that causes the PIP, so that doesn't really put any rationality behind me choosing delts.
I run my syringe under hot water and ot does the trick for me no matter where you choose to inject you need to plan a good rotation so you dont develop scar tissue and what not
