Filter needles
There is a fairly healthy body of research into glass fragments from amps being injected. Somewhere around 60% of tests returned as positive for glass fragments, but it could be worse given that fragment size is a factor.
Has never mattered much to me, but doing TRT and having what I hope to be a long road ahead, has me thinking about longevity.
Every study/article I've read makes the case that any amount of glass entering our systems has the potential to at some point, cause an issue (inflammation, scarring, systems issues if glass enters the blood such as blocked blood vessels, even death as a result, or immune system responses).
Rubber seems to have a lower % risk (~33%), but it presents the same issue to a degree and with other risks such as ischaemia or allergic reactions.
Every article In have read suggests filtering as a partial solution. Needle filters are pricey, but worth it. You get 5 micron protection, so while smaller particles could still get through, this is a significant level of protection from something that appears to happen >60% of the time.
The advice is, use blunt filter needles to draw, switch to your 25g or whatever, and happy days. Could apply similar thinking to vials, albeit with a sharper filter needle.

Allot of people are very concerned about the sillyest things i think. To each l each his own.
But just know there's an i.v. drug use sucking water out of a puddle right now to inject their drug of choice. And they're perfectly fine. Aside from their addiction. Also how many i.v. drug users snap tips of needles of in their arm that never come out. Doctors are not concerned about it either they say the body will break it down eventually. It's not as easy as av tiny piece of glass in your blood to kill u. Allot of people wish it was trust me.
I know someone who had a piece of glass embedded in their arm under the skin from an accident. The doctor said it will be fine, it'll go away eventually. I know countless people who have bullets in them still and they're walking around perfectly fine. 7 I don't think a microscopic piece of glass is anything to worry yourself about.

Ill take my chances lol. Too much work for me for a 1ml amp. Sorry. Wont work for rubber because most rubber comes from the stopper on syringe as well as the top of 10ml bottle.

Yeah I'm talking about the stopper in the 10 ml bottles. It works for anything bigger than 5 microns, so good for anything apart from what comes inside the barrel itself.
Dont get me wrong though. Those are cool for those who need it.
Exactly. Not everyone needs to think about it.
But if you have a life of trt ahead or whatever... let's say you have another 30 years in you at every 12 days, that could be over 900 injections over time. Might be worth considering then. Or, maybe not, to each their own!
