It's amazing anybody saw the outcome being any different. When will people see the difference in floyd mayweather and money mayweather. It's a personna people. It's two different people. Everybody hated Ali pretty much the same way. Because he talked and talked and he was arrogant. He spent a shitload of money too and was broke on many occasions but the cameras didn't focus on that. Both have used alter egos to essentially sell tickets and make money. It's called prize fighting and he has used the peoples hate of him to make hundreds of millions. I don't like this phrase but it pertains to this issue...don't hate the player, hate the game. If you knew you had those skills and knew you could make tens if not hundreds of millions more by making people you could care less about, hate you...you know damn well you would do it if you had those two pieces of information. He took away canelos power and didnt allow him to land but 22%. I watch boxing for what happens in the ring, Fuck what happens out the ring. Maybe we should just get rid of promoting all together and nobody see anything from either fighter until they come out to fight. Come on man. If you watch it for the drama outside the ring then you might be better off watching the real world or jersey shore. Mayweather 45-0 and he put on a clinic without a scratch on his face. That's what you call the art of boxing at its finest. Those 48 minutes inside the square determine what kind of boxer you are. If you have power and size does it really matter when you fight a boxer that takes those advantages away from you and never let's you touch his jaw? It sure doesn't.

Mayweather is a douche - and no I'm not a fucking "hater" - the guy is just a classless subhuman. Yes he's the smartest boxer / promoter alive, and his boxing skills are not in dispute - but the guy is a shit-bag clown. Or at least that's the image he puts out and what he wants to be seen as. He IS the highest-paid fighter alive; and perhaps that's why - because so many people can't stand him, and will pay the bullshit $70 hoping to see him lose.

All he knows to talk about is his money. Guy could take a fucking lesson or 2 in humility, and in using his celebrity status to be a role model. It's hard to judge him though, because he had about as shitty an upbringing as humanly possible, so why should I expect him to be so much better than what he shows the world? I can't help but root for whoever I perceive to be the best human example to young people.

Too bad too, because he could have a huge, far-reaching impact on so many lives.

Canelo is a class-act; a humble kid. Too bad he couldn't have won.
