I have a couple of problems with this video.
1. He used straps. I'm not sure if that counts with straps does it?
2. He left Arnold hanging? WTF? You can't leave Arnold hanging?
There was no "supposedly broke" when Bennie pulled his 1015, nor did he wear straps or a suit. His pull was done under santioned powerlifting rules. Typically, deadlifts are not compared between strongman and powerlifting, but when the bar is over a 1000lb from the floor, it's still over 1000 lb and is an amazing feat no matter how one does it.
This is the strongman world record, you can use straps in strongman. In powerlifting straps aren't allowed. Also after Hall is done dancing for joy he shakes Arnold's hand because no, you don't leave Arnold hanging lol

I'm like 95% sure straps are strictly forbidden by the ipf. Only wraps are allowed.
