Reheating crash prone gear before each pin

ad

I have some crash prone DHB that seems to not cause PIP after I reheat/redissolve on the stovetop water bath.

Will doing this over and over have any effect on degrading the molecules of the gear? I figured I do about 15-17 shots per vial, so that's a lot of reheat cycles. Albeit temps likely not much above 100C. Couldn't find any MSDS for this compound.

SuperBrish's picture

That's what I'm doing now. I brought it back the first time after a bad crash and that days shots went great. 2 days later still crystal clear but bad pip. Since that shot I am heating the oil before each shot. Have done last 3 this way and pip is mild to non existent! Feels like a hack but I was worried I'd maybe degrade the gear or evaporate the solvents.

4 days a week injections Tu Th Sat Sun.

Won’t affect it

Gabriel Willis's picture

You want to do research on the melting point of DHB and try to get your water bath on the stove to that degree. It shouldn’t degrade the gear, but if I am incorrect on that, I would imagine it wouldn’t be very much degradation. Besides, if it’s crashed, then chances are, it could be strong to begin with.

Yep melting point temp is key. Anything past that would be trouble.

DeeMan's picture

Thanks man. +1 right back at ya.

DeeMan's picture

What dosage are you using?

SuperBrish's picture

480mg per week along with 450 test and 400 mast. EOD pins with an extra pin day added each week to keep volume of shots under 2 mL. I'm contemplating lowering the dose to 360 a week but that will be depending on how my rotation holds up.

I really wish all the labs would just move to MCT, I am starting to find Miglyol harder to tolerate these days. Can make me feel a little hazy headed and headachy. I have had a few things crash in Mig over the years.

SuperBrish's picture

This is first time with mig. Also first time with guiacol. So far no negative effects besides pip but those will have plenty of time to manifest.

The main downside for me with Guaiacol is the throat burning when it hits blood and also the taste of the stuff. We all love the smell of it at first but that soon gets old after you have tasted it a few times LOL Plus there is the fact its Toxic to humans, just not sure how much in the quantities we use it in.

Mac12769's picture

Lol. I don’t know if I’m just sensitive or what, but I taste pretty much every injection. Doesn’t matter where I pin or what the oil is, it’s there. The stronger the taste, the faster it comes. I’ve been administering injections for years, so doing them on myself is never an issue except reach maybe. I don’t much even care about a bad/good taste anymore, more of a game to myself on “what’s this gonna taste like today” when I blend them.

LOL Buddy - They do tend to vary depending on how much Guaic the Lab tend to use - some of them just seem to go overkill with it where as others use it sparingly. I know the Lab you are using and you do tend to taste it every time, with others it can be touch and go. Have you had the full blown hit you at the back of the throat about to gag experience yet?! ROFL

Mac12769's picture

Pretty damn close lol. I think last week I mixed the NPP, Inj Dbol, and a TNE amp all in one pin. Had a quick choke cough, then tasted that for HOURS…toothpaste couldn’t wash it out. Just has to wear off in the day for me. Not cool when you’re trying to eat something and it has a hint of guiacol on the back end lol.

Jeez yeah that will be a tonne of it with the TNE and Dbol Inj

SuperBrish's picture

My first ever shot of it was the strongest, and immediately hit instead of the usual minute or 2. Might have partially IVd or just hit a really vessel rich area.

The sneaky injections that catch you out are where when you go in you go through a vein often when going into the quads I find, you feel the hard push on both sides of it (sometimes you do not know if this is scar tissue though) then you aspirate and all looks good. You plunge and then pull back out and it hits the pooled blood in the area that seems as if it goes back into the vein or something. Can this happen Mac as you are the I.V expert?

Mac12769's picture

Ok so when we do IM/SQ injections, the needle is going through tissue, muscle, blood vessels,. etc.. The intent is eventual absorption. After injection, we aspirate to ensure the injection/bolus is not directly into a major vein, which would go quickly through the circulatory system, and not the intent, and don't want to happen. But that oil bolus will absorb. How many of you hold that needle perfectly still throughout the injection....not me. Accidental small vein/vessel sticks happen. Some muscle groups are much more vascular than others (Quads), so absorption through vessels, etc is more likely, it is for me at least. I get blood/flash returns all the time when I inject quads, so I avoid it in general. Seems I hit more nerve endings in there too. The point here is it all absorbs, but we sure want to avoid getting that into any size vein, and getting that surge in there...hope that explains a little.

ONESICK's picture

I never aspirate. My sibling's mom who's in the medial field told me it's not necessary. As long as you inject straight into the muscle. I only got bad Test cough recently because I was in a hurry and my wife was rushing me out the door. About hit the floor with violent coughing for a few minutes lol. Best to take your time and go straight in. Straight glutes for me, depending sometimes my delts. I never do my quads, fuck that mess way too risky.

Mac12769's picture

Yeah I work the field, every shift, and I didn't really want to just throw out there "in the medical field it is no longer done" without a full explanation on it, but you are correct on that. Didn't want to confuse some of the masses with reactions, interactions, and absorption. Trying to keep it simple Good

I’m “In the field” as well. Slin pin in my lean delt? No. I gave up on quads, hit a nerve every other time. Glute injections? I aspirate. It takes a literal second. Only twice in my life have I drawn back blood, once in my glute and once in my quad. As soon as I pulled back it was immediate, entire bottom of the draw went dark red. It may be my age, I understand practices change, but that slight draw can avoid a lot of issues.

Mac12769's picture

On point. All of it. Same for me. Appreciate the input.

So tell me Bud - if we dump a full 3ml of oil into a major vein by mistake, made up of Test E, Deca Dura & EQ for example does the release time of the esters no longer apply because they are cleaved quicker with them being dumped directly into blood or are they still the same? I have always assumed it becomes fully active way quicker if not released in a muscle over time as intended?

press1's picture

People in 'the medical field' aren't injecting 1ml of Trenbolone Acetate or Oral steroids suspended in Guaiacol though are they bro - both of which make you feel bloody awful if they go near blood. For the sake of taking 1 second to pull back on the plunger to check for the presence of blood, I will continue to aspirate every time.

Mac12769's picture

Hmm, as far as breaking that down faster...not sure, but more importantly....don't do it lol. Why are we trying to put oil in to the gasoline line ? Meaning the oils were meant to be slow absorbed, but certainly not rapidly and immediately through the circulatory system via a major vein, which gets pumped straight to the heart, then the lungs. Why do you think your lungs suddenly choke up on the stronger compounds...so we certainly don't want to intentionally, nor by mistake. If you did it by mistake, I can't imagine getting through the full 3 cc's without hitting the floor first from the systemic reaction.....

press1's picture

I think you took me wrong there mate lol I'm not saying lets do it, just trying to see if its still as effective. Some people in the past have assumed if its gets straight into a vein its just effectively wasted.

Mac12769's picture

Oh I know bro, that wasn't for you...that was for the listeners. Ok

I am enjoying the taste at the moment lol. Ritualistic!

The good thing about it and the reason we taste it so promptly is because it is immediately absorbed into blood and rapidly metabolized and excreted. So even if it is toxic, I don't think it has time to elicit those effects due to how quickly it's cleared. That's the hope, at least!

In a promo × 2
press1's picture

Well if thats the case then you have taught me something there! Are we saying it is metabolized quicker than other solvents then?

SuperBrish's picture

Not sure about other solvents but the half life of guaicol is at most 60 minutes or less. Could be similar with other solvents I just haven't researched them.

Here is the article and copy paste of a snippet I read up on regarding guaiacol:

"The half-lives of guaiacol (from Cmax) can be estimated as 10 minutes (kidney), 30 minutes (muscle), 30 minutes (spleen), 60 minutes (liver), and 220 minutes (heart)."

Seems it does lower glycogen in most tissues but also lowers glucose tolerance, which could be a plus for gH users. I doubt the dosages in gear are anything near the therapeutic dose to display such effects. Seems the whole toxicity thing about it is overblown.

The heart is what caught my attention. And not sure of guaiacol's metabolites that aren't mentioned if there are any.

SuperBrish's picture

Yes I notice that too. Its effect is lowering glycogen so that would inhibit muscle growth and may be the root of guaicol toxicity. I'm sure an a cute overdose would potentially cause the heart to malfunction

press1's picture

Interesting how it stays in each organ for varying degrees of time.

DeeMan's picture

Yeah short half life but just the toxicity turned me off. Lol I tried it and couldn't get past that damn taste and smell. The thought of injecting it. At the time I'd just gotten a new vial of test no ester. I could smell the guaiacol threw the package it was in. Needless to say I never used that vial.

SuperBrish's picture

I'm with you all that stuff scares me, too. I originally chose EQ but then read about it causing some kidney problems in rabbits and then figured DHB was comparable on risk profile and more anabolic. Nevertheless this cycle will be followed by a 360 day cruise and likely a test/NPP blast and either mast or primo depending on funds. I need to weigh the difference between NPP and deca on whether I should use one or the other.

The DHB hype really hooked me in since I am scared of tren and wanted something non oral to dice up for summer. Expecting a lot from this cycle hope it's worth the hassle lol.

DeeMan's picture

You scared of Tren huh? I've never used it, kinda too late now but maybe it was a blessing in disguise that I stayed away.
And about EQ causing kidney issues I remember when a fellow member brought this to our attention. That along with the anxiety factor were the gossip of eroids lol. Most guys that commented on that post did say that EQ did give them anxiety.

SuperBrish's picture

I'm pretty good with managing anxiety so that wouldn't be too much of a put off. My thing with tren is unless I'm competing I can't really justify the risks. Tren and harsh orals would only be something I'd consider if I was taking my physique to the next level. At the very least something I'd save for when other compounds aren't effective enough.

In a promo × 2
DeeMan's picture

That's a good take on Tren. I like your thinking. Tren is harsh no doubt. Too many times I've seen a newbie or some under weight weekend warrior gym guy getting on Tren. These dudes have never been to a bodybuilding or powerlifting competition let alone even competed in one. Big mistake !

Greg's picture

No, but why not add a little of something else (oil or other compound) to the vial to help stabilize it so it doesn't crash?

SuperBrish's picture

As long as there's no risk to destroying the compound with heating I actually don't mind doing it but kind of time consuming lol.

It's carried in miglyol and my other compounds are not. I can see in the syringe they don't mix well it has that wavy look to it. Maybe I'll try a bottle of test carried in same oil and see what happens for next vial. The src I believe uses same oil for other compounds and I have to order more anyways. Thanks !

DeeMan's picture

No one really knows the answer that you're looking for put I'll say this...hormones such as testosterone are a little more durable when it comes to heat than peptides such as GH etc. In my opinion yes extreme and or prolong heat will oxidize any hormone. Heating close to the melting point for a short time shouldn't affect potency. Prolong and extreme heat is the enemy. This is just my opinion.

SuperBrish's picture

I agree with you. I did find that the 1-test base MP is pretty high, 192-196C.

The fact is since doing this reheat before each pin the shots have become tolerable, only mild irritation and nothing carrying over to next training session with that muscle. I was on the fence about potentially dropping the compound due to not being able to even wrestle around with my kids with my pippy body. LOL.
